Gold Encrusted Crystal Stemware Set of 10 Rambler Rose by Tiffin 1930’s

Art Deco crystal gold encrusted aperitif, cordial, or liquor stemware set of 10. Tiffin stem number 14196op (6 optic panels). Exceptionally beautiful stemware. Circa 1930’s. Made by Tiffin Glass.

All in excellent condition – the gold is 100% (very rare). Beautiful intact pure gold interior and exterior banded décor impressed with the famous Rambler Rose decor. All are hand blown and hand decorated. Bowls were blown into a six panel optic mold. Stems and foot were hand-formed and applied. The Rambler Rose décor is crisp and unworn. Beneath the top band and around the foot are thin single rings of hand-applied pure gold enamel. All of the gold décor is like-new (very unusual).

Set includes 10 precious cordials, meant for the finest of liquors. Each measures 3.75″ tall, 1.5″ wide mouth and foot. Incredible find. Impress your guests with before or after dinner liquors served in this very special stemware, over 80 years old, yet as beautiful as the day they were made.

Glass Eye Studio Life Size Fruit Figurine Set in Iridescent Art Glass

Set of four artistically beautiful, better than life-like fruit. These beauties are irregular in shape, just like fruit. The texture on each piece simulates the texture of the real fruit. They are not smooth and perfecty regular like most glass fruit figurines. And the iridescent colors, although not found in real fruit, are in vivid life-like tones.

Made by ‘Glass Eye Studios’ in the Pacific Northwest, USA in 2007 and no longer offered by the famed Seattle glass studio.

Big life-size fruit, except for the eggplant which is the size of a baby eggplant. Hand-made with a glass recipe that includes ash from Mount St. Helens eruption. Blown into mold and hand-finished with applied stems. No mold marks. The stems cover the pontil marks. Hollow inside, but made with heavy, thick glass walls.

Each weigh approx. 1/2 lb. All are in excellent condition.

Vintage Retro Modern Canister with Original Sticker

Awesome retro ice bucket with large cork lid and wicker handle by Takahashi, mid-century Japanese art glass and art pottery maker. Imported and stocked at Gump’s in San Francisco during the late 1960s to early 1970s. Hand blown from mold in red glass with applied clear glass knob handles. The wicker handle can be removed. The cork top is hard with age but seals airtight and looks in amazingly good shape considering material and age. Handle survived in great shape too. This item wasn’t used much. Jar has medium bottom wear. This item can be used as a kitchen canister, bar canister, bathroom canister, etc.

Large – weighs 3 lbs and is 7″ tall with a 7″ wide base.

Fire King Gold Trimmed Turquoise Relish Server

Late 1950s Anchor Hocking Fire King Ovenware turquoise blue relish server with 99% gold present. Anchor Hocking made their turquoise blue color from 1956 to 1958. Gold trimmed products were made with real 22 karat gold. These well-made, stylish, everyday glass items are ‘heat resistant’. You can warm them up in the oven and the 1950s housewives were real impressed. You can not, however, ‘bake’ in these heat resistant dishes, and don’t use it in the microwave because the gold will spark.

This lovely dish is 11 1/8″ long. A stunning server for many purposes. Hand-wash only.

Blue Crystal Goblet with Cover

Mid-century modernist egg-shaped Pokal. This strange and beautiful wine glass is made of blue blown crystal and sports a cover to keep unwanted elements out. In antiquity, a covered chalice was called a “Pokal”. Old label still attached reads “Made in Italy” with an image of a cocktail glass. We are unable to identify the label at this time, but are certain it dates from the late 1940s to late 1950s. Design and quality point to famous makers like Venini, Franco Pozzi, Joe Colombo, Moretti…

Thick crystal, varying in darkness of blue according to the thickness. The blue color resembles that of blueberries. Hand blown in four parts. Foot is applied to the stem, stem applied to the bowl. Lid blown separately. The artist left a few inclusions (small bumps within the glass, result of hand blowing).

To some it looks like an egg, to others it looks like a rocket. Weighs 1.2 lb. Measures 6.75″ tall without the cover, 9″ tall with the cover.

Georgian Glass Cobalt Blue Goblet by Viking

Stunning set of 6 Georgian goblets made by Viking Art Glass in the 1960s. Very rare to find a set of 6 in the very scarce and beautiful cobalt blue color. Viking Art Glass catalog part no. 6911, 11 oz goblet. The Georgian pattern was used by many great glass houses including Fenton and Cambridge. Viking’s goblets can be identified by the cluster of mold formed pattern found on the inside base of the foot.

Each weigh 1 lb. and stand 5.75″ tall. Thick glass formed with a 4-part mold.

Retro Vintage Milk Glass & Gold Egg Plate

Lovely egg plate with solid gold trim. Made by Anchor Hocking, Fire King between 1949 & 1962. Shown in their 1956 catalog, listed as part no. W896-G/13 Occasional Glassware. Beautiful, thick glass. Very sturdy and usable. Hand wash only. Always use a soft cloth and a light hand on the gold trim to keep it in perfect condition.

Beautiful 50+ year old egg plate. Gold is thick, glowing and perfect.

This lovely egg plate measures 10″ wide.

1960s Mod Enamel & Gold Gild Double Rock Tumbler

Set of 4 mod double rock tumblers. These were made in the late 1950s to early 1960s. Very popular in the mid-century. Flashy style popular with the likes of the Rat Pack, mobsters, and the truly mod 1960s swingers. Signed by Georges Briard, popular mid-century maker.

Blue and green transparent enamel with gilded gold leaf paisley & floral decor. Hand blown from mold, no seams. Bases are weighted to improve stability. No wear to the decor, no chips, no cracks. Light bottom-wear. Have not been used much in the last 60 years.

Measure 4 1/16″ tall, 3 7/8″ wide mouth. Each weigh a little over 1/2 lb.

Vintage Biscayne Wine Stems by Fostoria

Set of 10 retro wine stems in a beautiful light brown color. Made by Fostoria, pattern #6122. Biscayne wine stems with etched signature. Hand blown with delicate, quality glass. The blown stems are applied. Circa late 1950s- early 1970s. This lovely set was made during the “Swedish Modern” craze of the mid-century.

Each wine stem measures 6.25″ tall with a 11 oz. capacity.

Fabulous Circus Tent Coffee Pot

Lovely and rare large spouted pot with cover. This is the first time I’ve seen such a stunning circus tent art glass item…and I’ve been looking at glass for about 15 years. Fabulous peacock blue color. It is a full-sized coffee or tea pot, but could be used for any type of beverage.

Made in Italy in the Venetian style during the 1950s. The “circus tent” top on a large spouted pot is a rarity. The color is a stunning deep aqua blue. Vertical optic panels end in a soft heat finished ruffle. The handle is blown hollow (very unusual) and applied. The spout is blown hollow, of course, and applied. The lid matches the pot exactly. Pontil mark on seat of pot has been flattened with a shallow flower-like stamp.

Measures 13″ tall with the top on, 9″ tall without the top. From edge of handle to tip of spout measures 10″ wide.

French Michelangelo Baccarat Crystal Decanter

This beautiful old French crystal decanter bottle bears the Baccarat acid-etch mark on it’s base. Front label reads “Very Fine Liqueur Cognac J & F Martell Cordon Argent (signed Martell x f.) produce of France”. It was distributed by ‘Park & Tilford’, a US distiller since 1850.

Baccarat is known as ‘The crystal of kings’. The engraved mark on this bottle was in used from 1936 onward. Park and Tillford’s logo is found on the stopper and encircled on the back-side of the decanter. It is a bird within a crest, trademark filed on 9/14/1934. The trademarks and the trailing vine and leaf decor are acid etched onto the crystal. The decor surrounds the entire bottle. The decanter is in excellent condition with original labels. It is a full-size decanter measuring 10½” tall, 6″ wide, and 2½” thick.

We’ve seen the incredibly fancy liqueur bottle, without the labels, advertised as an aftermarket decanter. Baccarat made plenty of expensive ’empty’ decanters meant for the end-user (aftermarket) to fill with their own booze. They also made, and still make, special bottles for distillers to sell with liquor inside. The quality of the crystal for both purposes, in this case, appears to be the same. This bottle is made of mold-blown high quality crystal.

This decanter was made between 1951 and 1954 and was called “Michelangelo”,

Set of 61 Items Pineapple and Floral Depression Glass Dining Set

Beautiful intricate pattern by Indiana Glass. Set of 61 table service items. This detailed pattern is called ‘Pineapple and Floral’ and was made in colorless glass only between 1932 to 1937. Indiana did later reproductions of their own pattern in the 1960s and in the 1980s. The reproductions came in a variety of modern colors. This set dates to the 1930s.

This fancy, fun pattern looks great on holiday or party tables. Fun to collect, mix and match, and use. Set includes:

Vintage Hand Blown Flip Tumblers

Set of two Colonial Williamsburg #CW30 Blenko Art Glass flip tumblers. Circa 1960. Made in the style of early American glass. In antique green (seeded with very small intentional air bubbles). These tumblers were hand blown with soft pontil.

One measures 4″ tall, the other is 3.75″ tall. The size vary slightly because they were made by hand.

Set of Six Large Viking Bluenique Water or Wine Goblets

Beautiful deep blue wine goblets with the ‘Georgian’ pattern. These goblets are Viking Art Glass catalog part no. 6911. They were made with a 4-part mold. Circa mid 1960s. Vintage retro modernist glass that looks stunning at the bar or on your table.

Each 11 oz goblet weighs 1 lb and stands 5.75″ tall.

Fostoria Glass Scarce Vintage Ghost Owl Figurine

Hard to find “table charm” owl made in 1971 to 1973. Ghostly blue owl made by Fostoria Glass in 1971 to 1973. Scarce item made for only two years by one of America’s last great glass houses. Fostoria’s glass was tasteful, well-made, and ranged in every-day ware, high-end stemware and table settings, art glass vases and figurings, and mod glass art objects. Sadly, Fostoria closed its doors for the final time in 1986 after 98 years of producing American hand-made quality glass in a vast assortment.

In the 1930’s Fostoria introduced figurals and animals into its fine glassware lines. They called paperweight-sized glass figurines “Table Charms” and described them as “new decorative pieces of high good humor”. lol. Fostoria continued to offer a superb selection of paperweights in styles that reflected the tastes of the eras. This mod little owl is from the hippie generation. 🙂

It is in excellent original condition with light shallow bottom-wear scratches (expected). Measures 3″ long, 2.5″ tall and 2″ thick. Weighs 3/4 lbs.

Solid glass in a misty steel semi-transparent blue that reflects lighter and darker according to the light. Made in a mold. Glass is lightly seeded, small specs inside the glass, and has a slight surface texture. Two straw marks (faint lines imbedded in glass) on the owl’s back from old-fashioned cooling methods. Seat is polished flat.

Fostoria Glass Olive Dish Steuben-like

1940’s Fostoria crystal olive bowl. This beautiful bowl is often mistaken for Steuben glass. It was made by Fostoria as a Steuben look-a-like and/or go-along. We’ve seen many Fostoria bowls like this with forged Steuben signatures that have been added with a glass etcher. Never has the fake Steuben signature that we’ve found on these bowls looked like an original signature, it was always poorly imitated.

A couple of differences between the Steuben and the Fostoria olive bowl: Fostoria’s handle has an extra turn and Fostoria’s hand-blown glass usually has one or two tiny unintentional bubbles. Stueben’s glass rarely had unintentional bubbles. The style was first made by John Dreves of Steuben in 1939. Fostoria’s pattern go-along was made shortly after. In excellent original condition with scattered trapped tiny bubbles.

Bowl measures 5.5″ round, the handle adds another inch to the width. Stands 3.5″ tall to top of handle and weighs 1.75 lbs. Stueben’s original version measured 5.25″ round.
