Hard to Find Viking Art Glass Vintage Fish Figurine
Scarce mid-20th century vintage fish figurine in Persimmon by Viking Art Glass, USA. 1960’s catalog part no. Epic #1320. Made in the 1960’s to 1970’s. In perfect condition.
Big Viking Art Glass fish figurine weighs 2 lbs. Viking glass was made by hand, formed by mold, then re-heated to obtain the gradual blends of yellow and orange. The glass worker finished the form by hand-tool, pulling and pushing the tail and body.
Nice gift for your favorite fish lover. Looks great next to the aquarium or in a sunny window. Sure to please Viking Art Glass collectors.

Mid-Century Glass Candle Holder In the Swedish Modern decor style by Viking Art Glass.
Mid-century glass candle holder made by Viking Art Glass in the 1950’s to early 1960’s. The Swedish Modern style incorporated smooth flowing lines with natural yet simple forms. This single Viking Art Glass Epic Taperglow #1192 in smoke black glass was made in the Swedish modern style.
Limited production made only in 1958 to early 1960’s. Shown in Living for Young Homemakers, April 1958 which describes these Swedish Modern decor candle holders as “…tall, graceful, envied and modern” and in “The Gift & Art Buyer” Feb. 1958 which states “Designed to appeal to the woman who likes to do exciting entertaining.”
Very big mid-century glass candle holder is 16.5″ tall. In excellent condition. Made to accommodate flowers also, see advertisement image. Hand blown from mold – polished base rim. Beautiful, flawless glass. Set of amethyst glass Taperglow candle holders are available separately.

Vintage Glass Canister Sold at Gumps of San Francisco in the Late 1960’s
Hand blown mid-century modern vintage glass canister. Imported from Italy by Gumps of San Francisco back in the days of Haight-Ashbury (late 1960’s).
Stands 6″ tall on a 4″ wide base. Lid and inner neck are ground to fit creating an airtight fit. Blown in smoked black/grey glass. It was hand-blown from a mold, no seams. Base is slightly inverted. Very light bottom-wear. In excellent condition. Medium weight, sturdy glass. Weighs 1 lb.
This beautiful canister from our ultra-mod past makes a decorative kitchen or bar area canister. The original sticker from Gumps is still attached. The color has faded off.

Retro Modern Cruet Set Hand Blown Glass With Stylized Stoppers
Rare retro modern cruet matching set of two. Hand-blown vintage glass with original hand-formed stoppers. Beautiful and useful. Extremely uncommon to find as a set.
Circa 1950’s – 1960’s. Thick walled olive green glass with applied handles and original solid glass stoppers. Probably an import from Italy to sell to the American mass market during the Swedish Modern decor glass craze of the mid-century. American glass blowers made Swedish Modern style glass also. Possibly by Pilgrim Art Glass.
Retro modern cruet stands 8.25″ tall with ground to fit original stoppers. Both in excellent condition. Classy oil and vinegar set for the retro modern table. Can be used to store any potion.

Rare 1930’s Art Deco stemware by Morgantown Glass (West Virginia, US). Pattern is called ‘Art Moderne’. Set of four martini glasses in clear and ‘Anna Rose’ pink crystal. Shown in Morgantown’s 1931 catalog, number 7640.
The light pink bowls are hard to image. The color doesn’t come out well. In image 1 below, the glints of pink show the true color. The beautiful ‘Anna Rose’ color shimmers in the light. The stems were made of colorless crystal.
The bowls were blown into an optic mold producing 11 vertical panels. The stems were made with a 2-part mold. The center of the stem is hollow. The foot was hand-made and applied to the stem which is applied to the bowl.
Very hard to find Art Deco stemware pattern due to low survival rate. This delicate stemware is about 80 years old. Martini-sized, measuring just under 5″ tall with a 2.75″ wide bowl. Shown in image 3 next to a Morgantown Anna Rose Tiburon water/wine goblet (not available) to help show size.
Three are in like-new condition. The fourth has a tiny smooth inner rim flake. Can be detected by running a finger on the inner rim.

Viking Art Glass Ruby Glass Cup and Saucer Set
Ruby glass cup and saucer set includes two round saucers and two cups. Original Viking part #797. Viking called this color Carmen. Carmen red was originally a New Martinsville Glass color. New Martinsville was absorbed by Viking when it closed.
Both ruby glass cup and saucer pairs are in excellent condition with maker’s label still attached. This is a 1970’s label when Viking changed it’s name to Dalzell Viking. Cup measures 2.5″ Tall with a 4″ mouth. Plate is 5.75″ wide.
Perfect for tea, coffee, and coffee drinks. Beautiful Carmen red color darkens toward the rims.

Swedish Modern style mid-20th Century beverage mugs made in the USA. Yes, there once was a time when we actually made things in America. We were really good at it too. These Swedish Modern style cups are from the late 1940’s to mid 1950’s.
The Swedish Modern style is incorporated in these eye-pleasing, sturdy and useful mugs. Inside the gold chromed heavy metal is a simple little contraption that can adjust a bit to insure the the glass vessel and metal handle base fit snugly. The words “Melco Glendale Calif 4″ is stamped on this metal piece.
EACH weigh one pound. The weighted base glass vessels weigh 1/2 llb and the metal bases weigh 1/2 lb. These great entertainment ready cups stand their ground when bumped. Great for outside…the wind can’t bump them around either.
Clear glass was blown from a mold with heat-finished rims. The part that inserts into the metal base is solid glass (weighted base). The handled bases were made with some sort of heavy, durable metal, then plated in a gold tone. Full-sized cups stand just under 4” tall.
The glass is in excellent condition. The metal is in good condition. There is no damage to the metal, but there are a few tiny pin-hole sized spots here and there where the plating has worn. They appear in excellent condition, must look close to see the minimal wear.

Retro Vintage Glass Canister Jar in Bright Orange with White Drizzle Decor
Like-new retro vintage glass canister jar made in the 1940’s – 1950’s by Hazel Atlas. The bright orange was ‘fired-on’ over clear glass and the and white enamel spatter decor was applied.
It is unusual to find this vintage decor style in ‘like-new’ condition as this jar is. No wear…bright and cheery as the day it was made. Useful in the kitchen, bar or vanity. Great for cotton-balls, etc. Perfect for preserving dried food, herbs, etc. as light does not shine through the opaque finish. Nice for stash of any kind.
Measures 7″ tall, 4″ wide with a girth of 12″. In perfect condition.

Vintage Retro Modern Swedish Crystal Candlestick Holder Set Handmade by Boda
Pair of vintage retro modern Swedish Boda glass candle holders. Boda was founded in 1864 in Sweden. In the early 1970’s Boda merged with Afors and Kosta and became ‘Kosta Boda’. In the early 1990’s, Kosta Boda merged with Orrefors and continue to produce fine crystal and glass art today.
These vintage rero modern Swedish Boda candle holders were made pre-1970. One label is still attached and reads “Handmade Boda Sweden”. The label is white and black, but looks golden in the images.
Both are in perfect, like new condition. Made with a 3-part mold, with raised daisy-like flowers. The candle wax platform is heat finished smooth. Quality crystal glass. Each weigh 1 lb.

Set of two Depression glass vanity jars, circa 1930-1940.
Classic Depression glass vanity jars. Both in excellent condition.
The pink compote’s lid finial is slanted just a bit, look closely at images (happens during old fashioned cooling methods). This is not unexpected in Depression glass. It was a premium giveaway, perhaps found in a box of laundry detergent or oatmeal.
The pink Depression glass vanity jar was made by Indiana Glass in the Old English pattern. The clear jar was made by Imperial Glass in the 1930’s.
Pink item measures 4.75″ Tall and 4″ at widest. Clear item is 2.5″ tall and 4.5″ at widest. The patterns appear to match, but they do not. The ridges on the squat jar are a bit wider than the pink jar. They look good together, perfect for the vintage vanity.

Set of 6 perfect antique hand cut crystal goblets with notched stems.
Made of quality war-time antique hand cut crystal. Long strong ring tone when plinked. Running a finger around the rim produces a tone. Nice dense crystal. Black light test (image 4) shows Manganese was used instead of lead, dating it to one of the two World Wars, probably the second.
The bowl and foot are hand formed and heat polished. The pattern was hand-cut on the bowl and on the seat of the foot. The notch stem was made from a mold and applied to foot and bowl.
This antique hand cut crystal set consists of (2) cocktail or champagne, (2) parfait, and (2) whiskey double. The 6 1/8″ tall cocktail/champagnes weigh ½ lb each, as do the two 3 3/8″ tall stemless parfaits/whiskey doubles. The martini and parfait bowls have 16 vertical optic panels, the large champagnes do not. 5 7/8″ tall medium-size martini/sour goblets weigh 1/4 lb each. The two Nice heavy fine crystal. The heights vary just slightly due to the handmade process.
The intricate hand-cut pattern covers the entire bowl and three leaf sprigs were cut beneath the foot. The pattern has slight variations which reveal that it was cut by hand. We were unable to match this beautiful pattern, but considering the high quality, we can be sure they were made by a fine maker. Circa 1930’s. Set of 6 – All in perfect condition.

Early American pattern glass Ashburton cordial goblet or whiskey shot from the 1840’s. Holds 1 ounce. Measures 3½” tall.
In perfect condition. Semi-solid ring of bottom-wear. No purpling.
Lovely example of EAPG stemware approx. 160 years old.

Set of Two Murano Glass Bowls with Concentric Gold Dust Cased Ruby and Black Amethyst
1950’s Murano glass bowls in dark ruby and black amethyst glass with aventurine in a swirling vortex. Looks like ruby star dust. The black amethyst glass appears solid black.
Hand-made of thick cased glass with stylized rims. The images show white reflections interrupting the beautiful gold aventurine swirl. There is no white. These bowls are much more impressive than the images show.
No labels or maker’s marks. An example of these Murano art glass bowls is shown on page 91 of ‘Circa 50’s Glass’ by Leslie Pina, and is stated to be Italian (Murano, Venetian) glass but does not give a maker.
Large, hefty Murano glass bowls. The tri-corner bowl measures 8.25″ long and 8.25″ at widest, 2.75″ tall. The round bowl with shelled edges measuers 7″ wide and 2.75″ tall. Weigh 3 lbs each.
Both in perfect condition with light bottom-wear around the edges of the seat. Beautiful matching pair made from the same batch by the same artist.

Hand Etched Art Deco Gazelle Crystal Fan Vase Set
Featuring the iconic art deco gazelle so popular in the 1920’s to 1940’s. Set of two top-quality hand-blown crystal fan vases.
Big, beautiful matching set of vases hand-decorated with a cut deer/gazelle leaping through flowering foliage. Classic art deco decor and form. The shape of the vase is perfect for holding a spray of flowers.
Heavy art deco gazelle vases of thick pre-war crystal (contains lead). The largest weighs 3.75 lbs. Measures 8.5″ tall, 7.5″ wide and 2.75″ thick. The other is 6.75″ tall, 5.75″ wide, 2.5″ thick, and weighs 2 lbs. Probably made in the Scandinavian regions. High quality.
In excellent condition. The center of the bases are slightly inverted allowing the vase to rest on the outer edges. This is a quality feature designed to minimize bottom-wear. Bottom-wear is caused by years of surface contact and is more visible in colorless glass. By resting on the very edges of the base, the vase avoids visible bottom-wear scratches.

Big Imperial Glass Antique Retail Counter Jar and Cover
This antique retail counter jar is marked “Imperial Cube” on top of the lid. Beautiful pattern of cannon balls and pillars. Made by the Imperial Glass Company, est. circa 1930 or earlier.
This antique retail counter jar is shown in the ‘Standard Encyclopedia of Pressed Glass’, 5th Edition 1860-1930, page 320. The authors have no information other than an image and maker.
Has a manganese mineral content used in early glass. Manganese causes glass to turn purple when exposed to sunlight. This jar has just a hint of purple gained naturally over the years. Manganese glass will glow green or yellow when exposed to black light (see image #4). This is not Vaseline glass.
Big enough to put large cigars inside. Great for candy sticks, as a kitchen canister. Perfect for the bar too. Will hold ample amounts of whatever you like. Measures 7″ tall, 6.5″ wide. Large, heavy jar weighs 4 lbs.
Heavy bottom wear from surface and base contact over the years. In excellent condition.

Pristine vintage glass coaster set by Anchor Hocking in original packaging. Pattern introduced in 1960 and was called Early American Prescut (reproducing the style of early American pressed glass). The coaster part no. is 700/702.
This prolific pattern was produced for 40 years and came in more shapes and sizes than any other pattern we’ve seen. Also came in different colors. Especially fun to collect. Great for everyday use. Sturdy, hard to break, dishwasher safe. Perfect to pass around at parties.
The coasters are usually found one by one. Offered here is a complete vintage glass coaster set of 6 in the original box. Box is marked ‘Another fine Anchor Hocking Product – Lancaster, Ohia U.S.A. – 700/702/12-C4’.
All in excellent, unused condition. Box has wear to lettering and some missing pattern on the lid, but is in great shape. Measure 3.75″ round, about ½” tall.

Mid-Century vintage glass decanter set with gold leaping stag and fawn in silver forest.
Vintage glass decanter set in like-new condition – 100% Preserved – Gold and Silver 100%. Circa 1950’s. Probably by mid-20th Century Bohemian/Czech maker. Quality blown glass with solid original stopper ground to fit neck. Hand blown from mold and hand-decorated.
The glass is smoke grey with satin frost. The decor is overlaid in real gold and silver. The metallic decor reflects black in some areas of the images, please note there is no black or irregular coloring.
Decanter is 14″ tall. Includes six matching 3.5″ glasses. Rare items due to 100% condition, leaping stag pattern and as a complete set. Gold or Silver overlays rarely survive time without fades or nicks. The overlay decor is in original condition.

Valencia Waffle Square Base EAPG Goblet
Brilliant old EAPG goblet with deep intricate pattern and domed square foot.
This large early American pressed glass, EAPG goblet has a lot going on! Pattern has zippers, stars, blocks & jewels. Called Valencia Waffle. Made in the 1880’s. This pattern was made with a round or a square base.
Pressed from a 4-part mold. Glass contains manganese (lights up yellowish/green under black light – image 4). This type of glass would turn purple if over exposed to sunlight. Only a very slight hint of purple shows here, do to natural aging.
Has VERY heavy bottom-wear (image 3) due to old age. Solid thick band surrounding the bottom of the foot. Hard to believe this 130 year old goblet would survive all these years without numerous chips. But only one small sliver was found near the base of the foot. It is invisible due to the pattern, and is too small to show-up in the images. A bit of roughness around the edge of the foot, but no dings. In very, very, good condition.
Glass is clear and brilliant (slight hint of purple). A few trapped air-bubbles are within the glass. Stands 6.5″ tall with a 3.5″ wide bowl and a 3″ square base.

Vintage wine glass with ball stem and balloon vessel in green swirl pattern by Duncan Miller, USA. Large vessel holds 12 ounces.
Made in the 1940’s – 1960’s by Duncan Glass, U.S.A. a famous maker of elegant glassware. Measures 5.5″ tall with a 3.5′ wide mouth. Hand-blown from a swirl optic mold in a beautiful glowing green. The ball stem and foot were made separately by hand and applied to the bowl.
The beautiful green color is not Uranium glass. This vintage wine glass was made of lead quality crystal. Makes a lovely gift accompanied by a nice wine. Scarce pattern and shape. In perfect condition.

Elegant Depression Glass Green Uranium Green Twisted Optic Covered Jar
Elegant Depression glass covered jar made in the Art Deco era. Premium glass, not the usual Depression glass. Produces a crystal ring-tone when plinked.
This lovely uranium glass powder jar was made by the Imperial Glass Co. in 1927-1930. The pattern was called Twisted Optic.
The light green color was achieved by adding Uranium instead of lead to the glass batch. Elegant Depression glass often contained Uranium instead of lead. Uranium glass lights up under black-light (see image 3). The Uranium is not dangerous to your health unless you grind up the glass and eat it.
Hand blown into a spiral optic mold and finished by hand. Rims, and seat ring are polished smooth. No mold lines.
Can be used as a vanity puff box, candy box, stash or trinket box. Large squat bowl measures 6″ wide. Stands 5″ tall. In perfect condition, beautiful and sparkling clean.

English Hobnail Vintage Milk Glass Stoppered Bottle Set
Pair of heavy vintage milk glass stoppered bottles in the English Hobnail pattern. Usually attributed to Westmoreland Glass, famous for their English Hobnail pattern. Many, many glass makers produced the English Hobnail pattern. We believe this set of vintage milk glass vanity bottles was made by Duncan Miller, Circa 1930’s – 1940’s. Unmarked.
Both bottles are in perfect condition with thick-walled, pure white opaque glass. Measure 6½” tall and weigh 1 lb each. Stopper and bottle necks are ground to fit. Fire-polished, seams not visible.
Sturdy and useful for vanity colognes, kitchen potions or bar accessories.

Flower Petal Vintage Glass Dining Set, Service for Four
Retro vintage glass dining set by Federal Glass, Circa 1950’s-1960’s. The distinctive pattern is call Petal #2829. In beautiful light amber glass.
Condition Ranges from excellent to good. Petal tips are prone to chiggers. There are some rough spots on the sharp tips and you must look closely to spot them. One dinner plate has an obvious, smoothed point chip.
Set of 16 consists of (4) 11.5″ dinner plates, (4) 9″ salad or bread plates, (4) 6.5″ bowl liner plates, and (4) 5.5″ small bowls.
Made of thick pressed pattern glass. Looks amazing on a breakfast table.

Early Free Blown Glass Little Brown Jug with Bow Handle
Fascinating little brown jug hand-blown a long, long, long time ago. How old? Guessing 1800’s, perhaps earlier, could be 18th century.
It is not a new reproduction. The earmarks of early glass are all present here. Primitive rough open pontil mark, ring of bottom-wear on base, tilted back form (prevents dripping), applied crooked bow handle, entrapped unintentional bubbles, straw marks (from old cooling methods), hand-tooled melon ribs, organic brown color, made by hand. The solid ring of bottom-wear is a result of sliding this little beauty across the table for a hundred years of so. It weighs only 1/4 lb – bottom-wear develops very slowly on light-weight glass.
Glass is in excellent condition. No liquid stains. A stopper once belonged to it. You can see the stopper wear marks on the inner elongated oval neck. The big bowed handle is applied crooked. Whether this was done because the blower was in a hurry or because it adds to the balance when pouring is unknown. It certainly adds to its allure.
Probably held a dining condiment such as oil, vinegar, cream, etc.. Measures 4″ at widest, 3″ tall. It’s amazing how artful simple glass objects can be. It’s primitive make and functional form has an ageless beauty.

Large Mid-Century elegant spiral optic crystal focal point vase
Hand blown optic crystal with applied feet, stunningly beautiful. Made by Tiffin Glass, circa 1950’s – 1960’s. Original catalog number 6041. Tiffin closed in 1984.
Tiffin is famous for their ‘Killarney Green’ color. Another color called ‘Pine’ is often confused with Killarney. This optic crystal Cornucopia vase is in Pine Green, a rarely seen color.
In excellent condition. Crystal feet are applied. Twisted tail has deep incised lines. Rim is polished smooth. Twirl optic is perfect. Large vase measures 11.5″ long. Weighs 3 lbs.

Large gallon size Moon and Star glass canister in amber.
Beautiful Moon and Star glass pattern first designed in the late 1800’s and reproduced with variations by many U.S. glass houses until the 1970’s. This canister was made in the 1930’s – 1950’s by LE Smith.
Stands 12″ tall and weighs 3 lbs. Thick, heavy and durable glass. This is the largest size of the canister set. The pattern is deep and detailed. Hand-made vintage glass.
In great condition, glass is clean and brilliant. The inner rim of the lid, unseen from the exterior, has commonly found chipping from use (see image 6). The chipped edges have been polished smooth, no longer sharp. The lid and neck were ground to fit. Beautiful amber color goes well with any color scheme.
