Fab Blenko Amoeba Dish Retro Modern Glass Multi-Use
Retro modern Blenko Amoeba dish free-form. Hand-made in the 1960’s. Versatile uses include candle-holder, flower float, incense, catch-all, snack server, etc.An amoeba is a cell with irregular shape. The form was very popular among the Peace and Love crowd of the 1960’s (aka Hippies).
Thick, heavy vintage amber glass contains small trapped air bubbles, expected in Blenko glass. Weighs 2 lbs, measures 8″ long, 7″ at widest.
Original part no 966, documented from the 1960’s. Image #6 is a catalog page from the early 1960’s with this form and part no. In excellent condition.

Perfect set of six Morgantown cocktail stemware with figurals of a fancy clad crow. The crow is wearing a tuxedo and top hat. These were produced in the 1960s by Morgantown Glass for Old Crow Whiskey.
They are all in excellent condition, even the little sharp beaks are intact. These dandy little crows are often confused as penguins. But a good look at the detailed pattern reveals they are crows.
Morgantown Glass was well-known for it’s quality. Very nicely made. Measure 6″ tall.
Hard to find as a complete set of six. Perfect for your next party or as a gift.

Fire-King Jadeite mugs marked “OVEN Fire-King WARE MADE IN U.S.A. (“Fire-King” is written in script lettering). The mark dates the mugs to 1951 thru 1960.

Orrefors Crystal Corona Bowl Lars Hellsten 1978
Luscious Swedish Orrefors crystal Corona occasional bowl with engraved signature on base and original sticker still attached.
Design by Lars Hellsten for Orrefors Glassworks in 1978. According to Orrefors sales literature, “Corona was inspired by the light surrounding the moon, as Hellsten, one of Scandinavia’s finest glass designers, cites nature as his leading design source. Made of purest crystal in the centrifugal technique, which challenges the skills of both artist and glassmaker“.
Orrefors was founded in 1898, began producing home glassware in the early 1900s, and is still producing beautiful crystal glass today. For glass to be called “crystal” it must have a lead content. All crystal is glass, but not all glass is crystal. The finest quality glass contains lead.
Orrefors products are admired for extreme clarity, colorful refractions, and superior design. Notice the colors bouncing off the crystal in the images. The color came from objects nearby.
This Orrefors Crystal Corona Bowl retains its original sticker, in addition the base is etched with Lars Hellsten signature. Weighs just under 2 lbs. Measures 4.5 inch round, 3.75 inches tall. Has 4 round white pads on the base to protect it from scratching surfaces and vice versa. In perfect brilliantly shining condition.

Russel Wright Eclipse Cocktail Set in Near Perfect Condition!
The Russel Wright Eclipse Pattern was licensed to Bartlett Collins Glass Co. and produced in 1958. Russel Wright (b.1904-d.1976), was an American Designer and a major force in the Mid-20th Century modern decor era.
The original 1959 Eclipse pattern depicts multiple modernist eclipses and came in blue, flamingo, yellow and green, and all had gold moons. Later 1970 reissues in this pattern did not have applied gold moons.
It is hard to find these once very popular, and now very popular, vintage modernist bar glasses in good condition. We were pleased to see this set has very little wear. The gold rims range from 100% to only 10% on one tumbler (expected). The decor is in near perfect to perfect condition. Gold moons show very little wear. No chips, cracks or discoloring. Colors still bright, glass still shiny.
Fabulous mid-century modern design by Russel Wright, hard to find and in wonderful condition. Set includes (1) Ice Bucket, 6.5″ round, 4″ tall and (6!) 4.25″ tall double hi-balls.

Retro-Modern Culver Glass Cocktail Set in the Rarely Seen Hispana Pattern
Exceptional Culver Glass cocktail set includes (1) 14″ tall double spouted mixer and (6) matching rock tumblers. Made in the U.S.A.
Culver Glass called this applied gold pattern “Hispania”. Hard to find pattern today. Unmistakably Culver Glass, with its rich 22 karat gold decor and retro modern design so popular in the 1960s to 1970s. This set was made in the 1970s, as it does not bear the Culver signature. In the 1970s gold Culver brand stickers were applied to the glass, and the signature line stopped appearing in the pattern. This set does not have the sticker, but it is verified authentic Culver Glass.
According to Classy Concoctions (internet blog), the company began in 1939 and gained worldwide notoriety in the Mid-20th Century for their gold adorned bar ware. The company was managed by the original owner’ son, Mickey Rothenberg, who sold it in 1996. He remained in the glass making business until he perished on 9/11 aboard a high-jacked plane. The glass was mold blown with solid weighted bases.The thick gold decor was applied by a secret method developed by Culver Glass.
The set has not chips or cracks and the gold is 100%. The gold decor does show its age as it is a bit crackled in areas, but this is expected. In excellent condition for its age and decor. Super classy Retro modern cocktail set.

Vintage Fratelli Toso Murano Glass Bowl in Opalescent Pink, Original Sticker
Fratelli Toso Murano glass hand-formed bowl made in 1940s to 1950s Italy. Beautiful opalescent glass in shades of pinks graduating to pearly white. Original Toso label remains on base. Well-made with quality vintage glass.
Large centerpiece bowl weighs 3 lbs. In perfect condition. Measures 9″ at longest, 7″ by 8″ at widest, 2.5″ tall. Blue showing in images was caused by light refraction. There is no blue in the bowl.
Toso is one of the oldest and grandest names of the Italian glass making families dating back to the 1854. Click here to read more about Toso. (Wikipedia article in German language, use translator) Decendents bearing the Toso name still produce glass in Italy today.
Elegant rich pink and shimmering white opal hand-made Fratelli Toso art glass bowl from mid-20th Century Italy. It’s in perfect condition. Label still attached on polished flat base. Some light bottom wear from over 60 years of surface contact.

Hand-formed Vintage Retro Glass Dachsund Dog by Pilgrim Art Glass, USA
Long and lovable vintage retro glass Dachsund made by hand by one of America’s mid-20th Century glass makers.
This super long bodied art glass doggie is part of the “Wonderful World of Pilgrim Glass Animals” line shown in the 1970 Pilgrim Art Glass catalog, part number 944. It measures 7″ long and 2″ tall.
Pilgrim Art Glass was one of the Fab Five handmade glass producers in the during the 50s, 60s and 70s, competing with the likes of Blenko Art Glass and Viking Art Glass. The company is one of the few art glass makers still in business in the USA Today.
It’s in excellent condition. Looks new, but it is about 40 years old. Made with quality vintage glass in one of the favorite retro modern colors, olive green. Hard to find without damage.

VERY Large crystal ball vase by Orrefors, Sweden.
Rare and beautiful crystal ball vase from the late 1930’s signed ‘Of HZ48’. Designed by famous glass artist Edward Hald (1917-1978).
Thick blown light blue crystal ball vase with horizontal optic panels. The exterior of the vase is smooth, and on the interior the panels are slightly raised. Stunning optical illusion of light refraction. The blue darkens and lightens with position and lighting angle. Just beautiful.
Huge ball vase, twice the size of a bowling ball, weighs 7 lbs. In very good condition. A couple of slight side dings that can only be seen when studied closely, so small they cannot be felt or imaged. Glass is clean and brilliant. Heavy bottom-wear indicative of heavy glass rubbing against a surface for 80+ years. You can see the bottom-wear in image 2 above the signature.
Measures 11″ at widest with a widest girth of 20″. Stands 9″ tall with a 5 inch soft rim opening. Weighs 7 lbs. It’s larger than it appears.

Elegant art glass ewer jug, hand blown in blueberry and cream satin glass.
Unique, probably antique, art glass ewer stands 5.25 ” tall. Perfect size for your special potions.
Made by hand with the same methods used in “peachblow” glass, a popular Victorian style in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. Mount Washington and Hobbs Brockunier are a couple of the old American producers famous for their Peachblow glass. This little jug’s decor is affectionately named “Blueblow”, graduating blue into white.
The glass is finished with acid causing a soft luxurious satin look and feel. The vessel was produced in cased glass and is opaque. The handle was drawn and applied separately using colorless glass with the satin finish.
Beautiful, perfect condition. The base has a solid ring of light bottom-wear, which indicates age, especially in smaller pieces like this. Bottom-wear is not considered damage and is expected on older glass objects. Circa estimated early 1900s to 1940s.

Beautiful dusty rose color with an antique style pattern by Kanawha Glass. The stemmed goblet form was popular in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s for use as a wild rose vase. Kanawha used a pattern similar to antique patterns used at the turn of the 20th Century. This large stemmed goblet vase is a vintage reproduction of an antique style.
This vase is shown in amberina color in bottom right of image 4. The 1966 Kanawha catalog demonstrates how this versatile vase can be used as a candle holder too.
In perfect condition with a solid band of bottom-wear (caused by base contact with the surface over the last 50 years, see image 2). Weighs 2½ lbs. Stands 8″ tall and 5″ at widest. Large vase will hold an ample handful of flowers.

Art Deco Cocktail Stemware Fire and Ice Open Rose by Morgantown, circa 1923.
High quality Art Deco cocktail stemware in crystal with applied ruby feet and open rose floral etching. Set of four.
Morgantown Glasss elegant crystal stemware in Fire and Ice. Called Fire and Ice because of combined ruby red and colorless crystal.
Very good quality crystal. The rose etched bowl has 16 optic panels. Rose etching is specifically Art Deco with deco lines accentuating roses. Ruby foot was drawn by hand and applied to stem.
Made by hand. Blown into 16 panel optic mold. Very fancy! Circa early 1900’s.
Measure 2.5″ tall. Designated as a ‘cocktail’ glass, holds 2.5 ounces. Three are in perfect condition. The fourth, which should be used as the hostess glass, has a very small rim chip, so small it won’t come out in the images. Can be felt by running finger over rim.

Vintage Cambridge Glass Vase with Peony Silver Overlay by Silver City, Circa 1940’s
Beautiful big, vintage Cambridge elegant vase measures 10.5″ tall with a 5″ wide mouth opening. Made by Cambridge Glass Company, vase form number 278. Produced during the early Mid-20th Century, circa 1940’s.
The sterling silver overlay was done by Silver City in their Peony pattern. The intricate Peony pattern was hand decorated in real silver with satin frost on the leaves. The rim is bordered with Sterling Silver. The vessel was mold blown with a weighted base and applied to the foot.
This lovely well-made vase is in wonderful condition with even patina on the Sterling. The slight darkening of the silver, called patina, occurs naturally over the years and warms the silver tone. It is a splendid sign of age that is best not to be polished. The silver could be polished if one prefers, and it will result in shiny, like new silver.
This vase does not have the original labels as shown in images 5 & 6. We have included the images of a vase just like this with the original marketing info..

Mid-Century Art Glass Hand-Blown Pitcher Designed by Wayne Husted for Blenko
Large Mid-Century art glass Blenko #569 pitcher in Amberina. The part number tells us it was the 9th Husted design created in 1956.
Stunningly beautiful color was accomplished by the glass blower’s heating techniques. The dark, bright orange graduating into deep yellow color is sometimes called “Tangerine”, especially in mid-20th Century modern glass. The color blend has been made since the Renaissance, and is traditionally called “Amberina”
It takes a very skilled glass artist to accomplish a perfect Amberina blend because the color ‘comes out’ during the forming/heating process. Notice the inverted pontil mark has a blush of the orange. This fantastic pitcher’s coloring is remarkable.
The handle was hand drawn in thick orange glass and applied to the pitcher. It is a sturdy pitcher, very usable for beverages or flowers. The interior is sparkling clean, no liquid stains. It is important to wash and completely dry after every use, as this well-cared for art glass pitcher was.
Big pitcher stands 11.75″ tall and weighs a whopping 3 pounds. It is in perfect, like new condition. Over 60 years old.

Vintage Ruby Glass Tumbler Set by Morgantown, USA
Vintage ruby glass tumbler set of 12 hand blown glass retro modern pinched tumblers in ruby red. Rare to find as a large set. Morgantown part number #606, pattern name “Naval”. Circa 1930 to 1950.
Perfect vintage tumbler set for the bar. Nice size for cocktails at 4 1/2″ tall with a 2 3/4″ wide. Morgantown list this size as a “water glass”. Unique shape fits comfortably in hand. Great for parties.
The beautiful ruby red glass was hand blown, pinched by hand-tool, sheared at rim, rim is polished. Made by Morgantown Glass, USA. Pattern named “Naval”, line number 606, water glasses. Morgantown called the color “Spanish Red”. Circa 1930’s.
Hard to find in a complete set of 12! All are in perfect condition.

Vintage Sabino Opaline Art Glass Dove Signed Sabino France
In 1925, Sabino Art Glass proprietor Marius-Ernest Sabino of France created an opalescent glass with a glacier blue hue and pearly iridescence. The Art Deco crowd appreciated the beautiful, haunting color and artful glass designs.
Early Sabino glass was etch marked “Sabino France” and was intended for export, or it was etched “Sabino Paris” if it was intended for sale within France.
This perfect little vintage Sabino Opaline”Small Dove with Head Down” is signed, hand-etched Sabino France. This means it was made in Paris, for export between 1925 and 1935.
According to Marius Sabino’s autobiography: “Sabino’s early opalescent glass had a higher arsenic content than most of his competitors, but his glass formula is reported to have changed after World War II to reduce this component. The earlier glass is said to feel and look different with a softer and “soapy” feel.”
This dove has a noticeably velvety soft “soapy feel”.
In 1978, the Sabino firm was sold to a company in Texas. Modern reproductions are manufactured in various countries. Original molds are still used to create reproductions. After many uses glass molds will lose definition, and the intricate, sharp lines sculpted by Marius Sabino, wear down causing the object to lose detail. New Sabino items have little detail and often have rough seams. New Sabino items are either not marked by the maker, or a Sabino logo is impressed in the glass during manufacture.
This petite dove has very sharp details and is polished to perfection. This is an original Sabino opalescent head-down Dove. In fabulous condition with some bottom-wear scratching (on the base) from surface contact over the past 90 years.
Measures 2″ tall, 2″ long. Small glass art sculptures like this were often used as ‘table ornaments’ at fine dining tables. Lovely decor for the vanity too.

Cranberry glass is a beautiful pink glass with a range of intensities. Until recently, the color was produced by adding real gold to the glass batch. The more gold used, the deeper and darker the pink became. The color intensity is also affected by the thickness of the glass, as it does with any other color of glass.
This vase has a deep, rich cranberry color with fairly thin blown optic glass. It was mouth blown into a 20-panel optic mold. Finished by hand-tool to create the crimped neck and rim ruffles. See image 5 for a color intensity example.
Quality vintage cranberry glass vase looks and works great with large flower bulbs. Perfect for a handful of flowers too. Sitting next to a huge Pilgrim Art Glass cranberry bag vase in image 6.
Measures 5.75″ tall, 4″ round base, with a 3.5″ round neck opening. In excellent condition.

Sabino Art Glass Poisson Queue De Voile, Antique Original, Signed

This Poisson Queue De Voile has incredible sharp details and is polished to perfection. This is an original Sabino opalescent Oriental, fan-tailed goldfish. In fabulous condition with some bottom-wear scratching (on the base) from surface contact over the past 90 years. Very rare.
Measures 7.5″ long, 3.5″ at widest and 4″ tall. Weighs 1.6 lbs.

Mid-Century Italian Leather Glass Decanter and Shot Glasses
Set of mid-century Italian leather clad barware including a very large decanter and two double shot glasses. In the popular Medieval revival style of the 1960’s and 1970’s.
The leather on the base of the decanter is stamped “Made in Italy”. The original leather tag hanging on the neck of the decanter reads ” Noymez, Real Leather, Hand Made in Italy”.
Large decanter measures 15.5″ tall and 8″ at widest. Original stopper. In very good condition. No damage. The brass lion heads on either side of the decanter and the brass knobs protruding from the decanter have age patina. Some of the burned in leather décor is fading a bit. Leather is clean, colors vibrant. The two 3.5″ tall shot glasses have matching leather sleeves. The leather on the shots show a bit of wear. One shot glass has a missing brass ring.
Real hand-worked Italian leather from the mid-20th century. Groovy Dark Ages decor.

Victorian Art Nouveau Decanter with Hand-Painted Real Silver Decor
Hauntingly beautiful Victorian Art Nouveau decanter with original stopper. Expertly done hand-painted floral decor with real silver.
At the turn of the 19th Century, silver was very inexpensive. The silver overlay process, invented by Friedrich Deusch, was applied liberally then. As time went by and silver prices rose, the overlay decor was applied less liberally. This decanter has a fairly light layer of silver which could date it to the 1920’s to 1930’s. It could be older.
Big decanter measures 14.25′ tall. Silver wear on stopper and neck is evident. The floral decor on the body is in beautiful shape. The silver has natural, evenly aged patina. The stopper has some smooth chips caused by years of removing and replacing it on bottle. Black reflections in the images are from the camera. No chips or cracks. Glass is clean inside and out.
Hand-blown emerald glass with applied disc foot. Beautiful Art Nouveau decanter. Probably made in Germany, France or the U.S.A. Unmarked by maker.

Retro Modern Giant Grape Log Made of Lucite
Retro modern giant Lucite grape logs once adorned nearly every living room in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. The came in every color, size and form. We’ve seen a large hanging swag lamps, bookends, candle holders and more made of these iconic big Lucite grapes.
This big beauty is definitely on the larger side of grape logs! It weighs 8 lbs. Measures 16″ long and about 8″ wide and 8″ tall. Perfect decor focal point.
Awesome ocean blue colors. Some are lighter and some are darker blues. The giant Lucite grapes are mounted by wire to the polished real driftwood log. Thick plastic leaves are weaved throughout the grapes.
Normally, after 50 to 60 years, these fab grape logs show a lot of wear. This giant grape log is in near perfect condition. In fact, we’ve seen only 2 others that have retained their plastic leaves. It doesn’t appear to have been ‘re-wired’ as is often seen. Original wiring is in very good shape. The Lucite grapes, subject to scratching over decades of surface contact, are also in very good shape. Some tiny dents and scratching, but not noticeable unless you look close.
Perfect as a table centerpiece, sun room decor, kitchen window, bookshelf.

Vintage Glass Candlesticks in Sahara or Canary Yellow
Quality vintage glass candlesticks in a subtle yellow, sometimes called Sahara or Canary by glass makers of yesteryear.
This set was made with a 2-part mold. They could be early pressed glass, circa 1920’s – 1930’s. The color and decor point us to the time period. We are unable to identify the maker at this time. Possible Duncan or Fostoria glass.
The pattern consists of horizontal elongated thumbprints encircling the base and four vertical elongated thumbprints on the a squared knop. The candle bowls and lower stem have vertical columns.
Beautiful, and rare (we found nothing like them on the internet). In wonderful condition.

Set of Cambridge Rose Point Elegant Depression Crystal Tableware
This beautiful Cambridge Rose Point elegant crystal set is perfect for your next fancy coffee klatch, or an intimate coffee for two on the veranda.
The Cambridge Rose etched pattern was introduced in 1934 and discontinued in 1958. The intricate pattern was extremely popular with mid-century housewives and Cambridge Glass applied it to hundreds of glass forms. Rose Point is fun to collect as it is fairly easy to find and can be found in a huge array of forms.
Cambridge’s elegant glass is of very good quality. Great clarity, soft rounded edges, no mold lines, and beautiful wall to wall etching.

Beautiful Victorian vase circa late 1800’s. The vessel was hand blown from optic rib mold and finished with a twist. It is lined with a thin layer of white glass, then layered with colorful frit, and finished with a layer of colorless glass. The thorn handles were hand made and applied to vessel.
Spatter glass is sometimes called ‘End of Day’ glass. Glass makers of old would gather the left over frit from the day’s work and combine it to create the spatter effect.

The Spatter Victorian vase is in near perfect condition. In image one, look closely at the tip bend of the left thorn handle. You see a fine line. Interestingly, this fine line cannot be seen outside of the images. The camera and lighting picked it up. It appears to be an inner stress line that has not breached the surface. New owner should be careful not to lift the vase by the upper handle to insure the stress line does not grow. Otherwise, it is in lovely condition.
Measures 7″ tall and 5.5″ wide from handle to handle.

Tall Vintage Tiffany Crystal Blown Goblet Set
This pair of vintage Tiffany crystal goblets graced the wedding table of my history teacher in 1972. They were made of fine blown Austrian crystal. Commanding attention at 10.5″ tall. Shown in image one with a normal size wine glass for comparison. Produces a fine lingering ting when plinked. Perfect for the wedding toast.
The bowl was mouth-blown and the stem was drawn by hand. The foot was made separately and attached to the stem. The stem and the bowl are of a single draw.
Both are in perfect condition. This pair of vintage Tiffany Austrian crystal oversize hand-blown goblets are perfect for the most classy wedding toast.

Mid-20th century Waterford Crystal Glandore 7″ footed vase is in excellent, like new condition. It weighs 1.9 lbs. Made in Ireland. High brilliance and expert cut decor. Signed with Waterford acid etch on base.
