Handblown Seguso Art Glass mid-century Italian art glass bowl. Large centerpiece bowl in high quality heavy vintage glass with intentional trapped bubble and gold veil decor.
Designed by Archimede Seguso, a famous Italian/Murano artist of the 1950’s. Archimede Seguso came from a long line of Italian glass makers dating back to 1397.
In excellent, like new condition. Specks of gold aventurine are veiled throughout bowl. Symmetrical intentional bubbles.
Very scarce in this large size. Measures 10.5″ long, 7.5″ wide, 4.5″ tall and weighs 4.2 lbs. Sits on a solid clear glass .5″ tall, 4.5″ wide round base. Polished concave pontil mark. Medium bottom-wear.

Popular in the 1970’s with the hippy crowd which enjoyed medieval clothing and decor. These mugs would go well in a 16th century pub.
Complete set of 6, all in excellent condition. Measure 6″ tall. No annoying print on the mugs as often seen on Siesta Ware products.
Marked ‘Siesta Ware’ on the seats. Siesta Ware was provided by Benner Glass Company, Jacksonville, Florida. The Siesta Ware trademark was procured in 1963 and expired in 1985. Founder Dexter Benner died in 2007.

Circa 1970’s. Hand-made, blown into a mold then heat finished on the rims and inner vessel. Made with heavy, textured glass. Very useable – great for party snack servers or fruit bowls. Shown in image 2 with the iconic giant lucite grapes of yesteryear.
In excellent condition. Measures 11″ in diameter and 4-3/4″ high and has 12 petals. Weighs a whopping 5.2 lbs.
Beautiful and distinctive Amberina color literally lights up a room. The color was achieved during the re-heating process. It was a popular color in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Amberina glass is no longer produced.
This design is often confused with Blenko’s petal bowl. Blenko’s petals form more of a point compared Indiana’s rounded petals. The Blenko bowl has 14 petals compared to Indiana’s 12 petals.

$115.00Large Victorian Glass Footed Table Bowl
Victorian glass centerpiece bowl in the Reverse Torpedo, also called Bulls-Eye and Diamond Point, circa 1891. The pattern was made in an extended table service of many forms but it is a challenging and scarce pattern to collect. It was produced by Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton (pattern no. 49), early fore bearers of the pressed glass industry in the USA.
Near the end of the Victorian Era, pressed glass was a partially automated process overcoming the high cost of household glass and making it available to a broader market. Beautiful bowls like this graced many a Victorian home.
Glass over 70 years old is officially considered antique. Normal antique age is 100 years or older. Glass gets 30 years off because of it’s high rate of breakage. This old beauty is about 120 years old and in very fine condition. There are no chips or cracks, the glass is clean and brilliant with no signs of purpling. The base bears a solid ring of bottom-wear, appropriate for its age and weight.
Made with thick high clarity glass. The pattern is deep and 3-dimensional. The base and bowl were made separately and applied with molten glass. The ruffle rim was hand-tooled and heat-polished. Stands 9″ tall with an 11″ x 8″ oval bowl. Weighs just under 4 lbs.

Lovely egg plate with solid gold trim. Made by Anchor Hocking, Fire King between 1949 & 1962. Shown in their 1956 catalog, listed as part no. W896-G/13 Occasional Glassware.
Beautiful, thick glass. Very sturdy and usable. Hand wash only. Always use a soft cloth and a light hand on the gold trim to keep it in great condition.
Beautiful 60+ year old egg plate. Gold is thick, glowing and 99% perfect. A couple areas of light scratching, not noticeable. Dark areas on gold trim in images are reflections. The gold is evenly colored.
Measures 10″ round 1¼” tall. No damage.

Large, beautiful American Whitehall Cubist pattern covered bowl in sapphire Blue. Cubist items in colorless glass are still commonly found. Colored Cubist objects are very hard to find.
Made by Indiana Glass, USA, in the 1960’s after purchasing Fostoria American molds. The Fostoria American pattern, introduced in the 1920’s, was extremely popular. Indiana glass Cubist items have a rayed base. Fostoria American items are normally found with a plain base and polished flat rim. Cubist items are easily integrated into Fostoria American collections and visa-versa.
Big covered dish can be used for candy and snacks, or as a holder for precious personal items, or as a perfect powder puff jar for the vanity. Whatever its use, it will be a commanding décor focal point.
Measures 6″ wide and 5½” tall. Weighs just under 2lbs. Thick well-made vintage glass. In perfect condition.

$15.00Velvety Soft Satin Glass Bunny Ghost
This velvety soft satin glass bunny has a pleasing smooth feel to the touch. It is accomplished by applying an acid wash to the finished form. The semi-opaque result of the acid wash combined with the hand-tooled surrealistic form results in a “ghosted” look.
This lovely glass bunny rabbit can sit on the dining table as a “table charm”. In the late 1800’s to early 1900’s fine dining tables would feature little creatures scattered about to induce conversation. A nice addition to your favorite bunny lover’s collection.
Measures 3½” long, 2″ wide and 2¾” tall. In perfect condition. Made by hand. Applied tail. Maker unknown.

Art Deco console bowl made by Paden City Glass, an upscale elegant maker in the 1920’s to 1940’s USA.
Scarcely seen acid-etch decor called Frost covering the rim. The shape pattern name is Bead & File.
In excellent condition. Large bowl measures 13″ wide, 2.5″ tall. Thick vintage glass, weighs 3.5 lbs. Made of quality sparkling colorless glass. The decor is an intricate deep acid etch resembling frost on a window.
Made with a 3-part mold. Some faint wavy lines and some tiny unintentional air bubbles are present due to old-fashioned cooling methods. Mold lines were polished out.
This beautiful Art Deco console bowl would make a wonderful winter holiday display with fruit, food or flowers. Old glass flower frogs would fit neatly in the center.

$140.00Blenko Art Glass Plates Made for Williamsburg Colony in Hand Formed Glass
Big Blenko Art Glass plates hand-made exactly as they were made in 17th Century Williamsburg, Virginia, U.S.A. They measure approximately 11 3/4″ round. The size varies slightly because they were hand-formed.
In the early 1920’s, Williamsburg historians recreated the ‘Williamsburg Colony’ in the city as a tourist attraction. They outfitted the colony with exact reproductions of items used by the early American settlers. Blenko glass received the first glassware contract, and later the contract was given to Leerdam, a Dutch glassworks.
The Blenko Art Glass plates have no chips or cracks. They are in original condition. The rim is folded under. The pontil marks have been ground rough, and the glass is peppered with trapped bubbles and furnace inclusions, just like you’d see in early American glass.
Blenko collectors know that much of Blenko’s ‘colorless’ glass has a very light tint of blue, especially when viewed under bright light. One plate shows a strong stain of blue in the center, one has less blue.

$20.00Beautiful old elegant fine cut crystal goblets by unknown maker. Listed in ‘Crystal Stemware Identification Guide’ as UNK302.
The big trumpet bowl is hand blown and cut with a wide band of crisscross and lower trim of large crisscrosses. The intricate stem was made with a 3-part mold. The foot was applied to the stem.
The pattern looks like Pairpoint Adelaide from the 1920’s. Adelaide is usually seen with a solid ball stem with air bubble inclusions. Also been seen with a rather plain square stem. The stem on these goblets have a pineapple type knop. The quality of this stemware matches that of the infamous Pairpoint.
Quality colorless fine cut crystal. Exceptional clarity. The crystal recipe contains Manganese, a mineral used to replace lead during WWI and WWII when lead was scarce. Manganese causes the glass to reflect greenish under black-light (image 3). Estimate circa 1910 – 1940.
Beautiful lingering tone when plinked. Each goblet weighs ½ lb. Stand 7½” tall. All three in perfect condition. Three are available, each selling separately. Choose your quantity above. Lovely as a gift with a bottle of fine wine.

Includes (6) tall flip tumblers and (1) large pitcher #8.
Hand-blown vintage Mid-20th Century glass made in the U.S.A.. All have pontil scars on the seat. The colorless handle was hand-formed and applied to pitcher.
The Flips are approx. 6¾” tall and weigh ½ lb each. Flip tumbler height varies slightly due to the hand-blowing process. The big, heavy pitcher stands 11¼” tall and weighs 4½ lbs. (Note: Always lift heavy pitchers with one hand cradling the seat and one hand on the handle.)
Thick walled glass with wide crackle finish. Crackle decor accomplished by dipping warm form in cold water. Beautiful deep emerald color.
Original matched set – color matches exactly. These items were created at the same time and sold as a set. They are at least 50 years old.
Bischoff Art Glass competed with the likes of Blenko, Pilgrim and Viking, all icons of the USA’s East Coast studio glassmakers of the 1950s to 1960s.
All are in excellent condition. Rare find.

This distinctive pattern is call Petal #2829. In beautiful light amber glass called Sungold.
Set of 16 consists of (2) 11.5″ platter/dinner plates, (4) 9″ dinner/salad plates, (5) 6.5″ liner or bread plates, and (3) 5.5″ sauce/service bowls.
All are in perfect condition except (1) 11½” platter/dinner plate. This plate has an obvious chip off one petal end. Shown in images. Set weighs 12 lbs.
Made of vintage thick pressed pattern glass. Looks amazing on the dining table.

$65.00Interesting set of Early American pressed glass with a concave circle pattern. It is a ‘Thousand Eye’ type, reflects the circles within the circles. We have not found a positive identification of the pattern.
The bowl was formed with a four-part mold and is in perfect condition. The jug was blown into a two-part mold with pontil evidence on the base. The jug has a horizontal sharp ringed neck. The rim has sharp vertical ridges and a flat 4-corner spout. There is a tiny imperceptible sliver chip on top-flat surface of the 4-corner rim. Both items were finished with fire-polishing.
Bowl measures 7″ round and 2″ tall. Cruet sized jug is 5¾” tall. Cork is not original (lol). The jug probably had a matching stopper when produced.
Circa estimated to the EAPG era, 1850 to 1910. Probably American made, but could be Irish.

$65.00Vintage Muranese Art Glass Hand Blown Stoppered Jug and Handled Bowl by Rainbow
Mid 1950’s art glass hand blown vessels for the vanity or table. Beautiful set by Rainbow Art Glass made in the USA.
Both were blown by hand with mottled white decor. The mottled decor combined with the style of the form was called ‘Muranese’ (Murano style), according to distributor ‘Belknap’ in their 1955 catalog, see image.
The jug/cruet has its original, fitted double-ball stopper. The dual handled urn is a scarce item, rarely seen today. The urn is slightly darker in color than the jug due to old-fashioned methods of mixing glass colors (by hand). Different batches of the same color often had slightly different tones.
Pontil scars from the glassblower’s punty on the base. Image 5 includes a large cobalt blue goblet to help show size and color.
Both in excellent condition. The jug measures 6″ tall. The urn is 3.25″tall and 4.25″ wide from handle to handle. The stoppered jug part no. was 781, and it came in six different fab shapes. Great fun to collect all shapes. The two-handled pot hasn’t been spotted in reference material.

Depression glass beverage set in Marigold Craquelle pattern. Set of 9 includes (1) 40 oz pitcher #119, (1) pitcher lid, (5) 6 oz #123 tumblers, and (1) comport, and (1) comport lid.
The faux crackle pattern is slightly raised on the exterior and smooth on the interior. Beautiful gold/orange iridescent Marigold color shimmers with glints of gold, yellow and orange.
Set is in amazingly good condition. The FIVE tumblers are in great condition with some wear showing on bases. Wear is light. No chips or cracks. One tumbler has minor rim chigger that cannot be seen, but can be felt.
Hand-made by mold. Handle was formed separately and then applied to the pitcher.

$95.00Morgantown El Mexicano Vintage Glass Plates Set of Eight – Scarce
Vintage glass plates by Morgantown are in a scarce pattern which has evolved since the early 1930’s, originally called El Mexicano. The pattern variation name ‘Crinkle’ was produced in 1962 through the 1970’s. Very hard to find today.
The pattern was originally designed to look like the primitive plates found at an Inca archaeology dig. According to Morgantown Glass, the Spaniards taught the Incas the secrets of glass, but they had only crude materials and tools which produced “rough hewn glass objects”. Advertised as “An Ancient Technique Revived!” Called by numerous names, Del Rey, El Mexicano, Ockner, El Rancho and Crinkle glass.
The vintage glass plates are made of heavy double layered glass. The two layers are sandwiched together, the seam can be seen nears the rims. Color is moss green, a yellowish green. Very heavy glass.
Set includes (2) 8″ plates and (6) 6.5″ plates. Heavy glass, 8.5 lbs total plate weight. Would make the perfect dessert set for country, mid-century gothic, primitive, ocean, or organic decor. In near mint condition.
There are no chips, no cracks, no hazing. The rough edged rims have a minute amount of chiggers, that can’t be seen at all.

$160.00Victorian glass decanter in emerald green with hand-applied enamel decor. Large Handled jug with original stopper.
Antique decanter with enamel decor, probably of Bohemian (French or Czech) or could be English origin. It is hand-signed in gold on the base with a notched cursive L followed by a floating dot. Victorian Era or older.
To this date, we have not identified the “L” signature and we find that very odd! Perhaps it is not an “L”? We have another very old decanter and goblet signed the same, click here to view. If anyone can help with the ID, please email retroartglass@retroartglass.com .
The stopper is hand-formed and hollow with two intentional teardrop bubbles. The pontil scar is rough ground and inverted. The vessel was hand-blown from optic mold. The base of the decanter has optic panels. The handle was drawn by hand, crimped by tool and applied to the vessel. Stopper insert and neck are ground to fit. Original stopper.
The decanter base does not have calcium deposit damage. In image 7 (showing the rough pontil), notice the interior looks dirty. This is due to the reflections of the air bubbles trapped within the glass, the enamel decor showing through, and the remnants of a base protector. A fine layer of dust inside the vessel base can be seen. This dust, and the remnants of the base protector will be removed. No chips, no cracks. The hand-applied floral decor shows wear with about 90% of the enamel still present.

Eleven of the twelve are in excellent condition. One has a shallow smooth rim chip on the upper bowl. Use the goblet with the rim chip as the ‘hostess glass’. Large goblets measure 6½” tall, 4″ wide bowl.
Incredibly hard to find this quality made vintage crystal stemware, especially as a set of 12.

Antique dessert service set of 6. All are hand decorated with real gold in the Rambler Rose pattern. The plates have polished seat rims. The blown compote has a pontil mark and applied stem.
Set includes (5) 7″ dessert plates and (1) dessert sauce compote. One of the dessert plates can serve as a liner for the compote. Aperitif goblet shown in images is not included.
Incredible find, such a beautiful nearly untouched set. The amber color of the glass is unusual as the Rambler Rose gold encrusted decor is usually found on clear glass. The amber color multiplies the elegance of this set. In excellent condition – the gold is thick and 98% present.

$400.00Antique Venetian hand blown glass pitcher jug and four flute goblets.
Exquisite antique Venetian mouth blown glass by a master of the craft. Estimated circa; early 1900’s. We have not identified it yet, but have many clues. We are certain this set is not of modern make. The shape and decor have a story to tell.
The set of four goblets and pitcher and appears to be from the late 19th to early 20th century Italy. The style and form were revived from ancient glass examples excavated during the Renaissance by great maestros of glass in the 1700 and 1800’s whose names and achievements still live on today.
The large antique Venetian pitcher and goblets were mouth blown in a slightly iridescent, very light airy green. The light green glass lights up neon green under black-light, indicating the presence of Manganese or Uranium.
The pitcher leans forward, as in ancient days. This feature assisted the hostess or servants while tipping the large pitcher for service. This pitcher should always be lifted in this manner to avoid damage to the handle.
The mottled plum base and stretch satin handle are hand-formed, each with a different decor style, and applied to the pitcher’s body. The inverted dome feet/bases are mottled clear and plum glass with folded up rims. Pontil scars located on inner domed feet are slightly rough. The goblet rims are folded up. The hand drawn and stretched handle is in mottled plum and clear glass with added decor of fumed iridescence. It’s as soft as velvet and shimmers and shines.
A tiny chunk of coal from the glass furnace is trapped within this vessel’s handle (see image). Coal from an old fashioned furnace trapped within the glass is a sure sign of age.
A double wafer knop is applied to base and vessel, joining the two. The large handle is applied. It hoops well above the body. This large jug is meant to be held with two hands. One hand on the handle, the other flat out on the opposite side on the body.
It is in wonderful shape with no cracks or chips or liquid damage. The pitcher is perfect. The goblets have very slight minimal scratching on the interior probably due to stir sticks.
Pitcher is 10″ tall, 6.5″ at widest with a widest girth of 19″. Pitcher’s foot is 5.25″ wide. The four flute goblets measure 6″ tall, mouth opening width of 3.75″ and foot width of 3.25″. Large tumblers – full-sized. Set includes one large pitcher and FOUR large fluted goblets. Sparkling clean.

Set of Royal Ruby Bubble cups and saucers. Includes four saucers and four cups.
Beautiful patented Royal Ruby color by Anchor Hocking, USA circa 1940’s to 1960’s. This popular pattern was called Bubble. The first Anchor Hocking catalog featuring this pattern in 1941 called it Bullseye. The Bubble pattern came in Royal Ruby, colorless, Forest Green, Sapphire Blue, Opaque White, and Iridescent.
It’s great fun to collect the Bubble pattern. A large number of table glass and decorative forms were produced. The Royal Ruby color is most highly sought by collectors. Royal Ruby table glass, vases, etc. are favorites for adorning the holiday table.
Anchor Hocking made glass to endure heavy use. It’s hard to find this glass without some signs of usage because it is all at least 50 years old now. There are two sets available (choose quantity above) and all are in pristine condition.

These beautiful ruby bowls with colorless applied handles have multiple uses. Perfect on the dining table for gravy and sauces. Also make nice snack servers, flower holders or catch-all’s. Beautiful as hostess gifts filled with goodies.

$130.00Hobbs Brockunier Frances Ware Antique Syrup Pitcher
Antique syrup pitcher from the Frances Ware line by Hobbs Brockunier. Turn of the century American art glass, circa late 1800’s. ‘Francis Ware’ was named after Grover Cleveland’s (USA President) wife Frances Folsom.
Beautiful Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) hobnail pattern with a satin frost acid treatment on the lower half and a bright glowing amber on the upper portion. Hobbs Brockunier made quite a few table items in this pattern. Hard to find, but a real pleasure to collect.
Many Frances Ware items found today have chipped hobnails from bumping into other table items over the last 100+ years. This old stunner has only 1 small chigger on one hobnail on the body of the pitcher. On the base, the seat of the pitcher, there are approximately 8 chiggers off the last two rings of hobnails. These chiggers are invisible unless the pitcher is turned upside-down. They were caused by surface wear. See image 4.
The antique syrup pitcher has a pewter lid with 2 visible dents on the finial. The lid is intact and secure. Thumb tab flips up the lid to reveal a pouring spout. The lid seems to have a spring type control that provides tension while opening and it insures the lid shuts when the thumb pressure is removed. Whatever hardware used for this upgrade function is hidden within the thick walls of the cap.
The glass is sparkling clean with no residue stains. The solid glass handle was applied to the body. Made by hand over 100 years ago. Measures 7″ tall, 4½” at widest.

Set of Mid-Century Modern glass cocktail pitcher and four goblets. Hand blown vintage bar glass in dark blood red with colorless twisted stems. Includes a glass stir stick.
Made by hand. Probably of Scandinavian origin. Circa 1960’s. Quality vintage glass.
The colorless twisted stems are applied to the bowl and foot. The rims are heat finished. The dark smoky red color is unusual and appealing.
Set includes four 4.5″ tall goblets, one 8″ tall stylized pitcher and one colorless glass stir stick. Set is in wonderful condition, no signs of use.

$75.00Early American style Jamestown Glass handled jug in bubbly glass with applied seal.
This old Jamestown Glass jug is a vintage reproduction of antique Early American glass made during the medieval revival of the 1960’s. It was heated at the furnace, blown by mouth and finished by hand with applied lip, handle and seal…just like glass makers did in the early days of American colonization.
The jug is full-size, just like you’d see on the American settlers tables or bars. Label still attached, reads – Hand Blown at Jamestown, VA. – The specialty ‘Jamestown’ line has been associated with Blenko Art Glass. Blenko created the line with inspiration provided by the early American Jamestown Glasshouse.
Loaded with bubbles, from extra tiny to long and stretched, as glass from early wood-burning furnaces have. Inverted soft pontil mark. Applied handle, lip and seal. The round disc on the front is a seal. Seals were often applied on glass made in America’s very early years.
Big jug is in excellent condition. Perfect for serving your home-made Sangria, etc. Beautiful sitting in a large window sill. Makes a great vase too. Measures 8.25″ tall and 5.5″ at widest. Weighs 2.5 lbs.

$425.00Antique enameled glass decanter and Goblet Signed L.
Well-preserved antique Bohemian glass hand-blown decanter and goblet with enamel decor . Very rare. Very old.
This antique decanter set is probably of Bohemian origin, possibly Joseph Lobmeyr or his son Ludwig (Vienna, Austria) . It is signed in gold with a notched cursive L preceded by a floating dot and followed by a period on the base of the decanter. May be of English origin, as the exact style of palm fan decor on these items match that used by Thomas Webb in the 1870’s. Victorian Era or older…has a Renaissance look to it.
To this date, we have not identified the “L” signature and we find that very odd! Perhaps it is not an “L”? If anyone can help with the ID, please email retroartglass@retroartglass.com. We have another antique decanter in emerald green with the “L”? makers mark, click here to view.
Heavy hand-painted enamel decor of drapes, dots and fans/palms of Islamic inspiration. The thick, bright orange, yellow and white enamel decor is absolutely perfect, 100%, no damage, no wear.
The translucent glass is light amethyst. The very faint purple tint to the glass may be the intention of the artist, but most likely due to a “sun purple” effect which would develop naturally over the decades. The glass glows light neon green under black light.
The hollow stopper (original to bottle), neck, hollow base and goblet stem are in gold luster. The luster shows some wear, some pinholes, some areas of lightening, but is 95% present. Great condition for its age. The small wine glass did not receive it’s final grinding on the outer foot edge, making the rim around the foot rough, not chipped. Fired polished rims are slightly uneven, expected from old hand-blown glass. The pontil scar is rough ground.
The decanter’s inner hollow base has some residue that will come out with further detailing. The glass has NO hazing or calcium deposits. No chips, no cracks.
Large decanter measures 11.5″ tall with stopper. Stemmed goblet is 4″ tall. Stopper and decanter neck are ground to fit. Stopper is hollow. Exceptional.

Highly detailed Rembrandt portrait by Val St. Lambert, a producer of high quality art glass in Belgium. This plate is signed “Edition Limited, 1968, Val St. Lambert” in French.
This plate retains Both original labels. It is in excellent condition.
The Rembrandt portrait decor is deep acid etched from a very detailed carving. The surface of the plate is smooth, the deep etch decor shows through from the reverse. Wonderful 3-D effect. Beautiful artwork.
Heavyweight crystal, plate weighs 1.2 lbs. Measures 8″ wide, slightly flared rims .75″ deep. The Rembrandt plate does not have its original box.
