Peter Paul Rubens was a Baroque style portrait painter in the 1600’s.
The P.P. Rubens portrait decor is a very detailed deep acid etched carving. The surface of the plate is smooth, the deep etch decor shows through from the reverse. Wonderful 3-D effect. Beautiful artwork.
Heavyweight, high quality crystal plate weighs 1 lb. Measures 8″ wide, slightly flared rims .75″ deep. This plate retains its original label. It is in excellent condition.
Val St. Lambert made a series of these plates with different artists. Van Gogh and Rembrandt are shown in image 5 and are available separately. $110.00Old Masters Gift Set in High Quality Vintage Belgium Crystal
The Old Masters gift set includes two famous artists crystal art plates by Val Saint Lambert, Belgium. Highly artistic deep sand-blast carvings on quality crystal of English artists Sir Joshua Reynolds and Thomas Gainsborough. Both men were competing in the lucrative portrait business in the Mid-18th Century
Great find in original box with literature. Box is a bit worn from storage. Plates are in pristine condition with both Val St. Lambert labels on each.
The carvings are detailed and interesting/amusing. Artist must have been very grumpy back in the 1700’s. Top-of-the line deeply etched decor with a fascinating 3-D effect.
The crystal is pure, extreme high clarity…not a spot on it. Thick walled, top-quality Belgium crystal.
Both are signed on the base “Edition Limited – 1972 Val St. Lambert”. Pamphlet gives a short bio of the artists and a list (with dates) of others artists in the series beginning in 1968.

Plates measure 8″ round, rims are slightly flared up. Each plate weighs 1 lb.

$95.00Beautiful late Victorian era glass table centerpiece compote.
Victorian era glass long stemmed banana boat in excellent condition. A bunch of bananas fit perfectly, but works great with other fruits or food.
Similiar to Bryce Higbee patterns of the early 1900s. The flower-like sunrays, fans and zippers do not exactly match Higbee’s published patterns, and the glass feels and looks different. I believe it is older, around 1880 EAPG or possibly European.
The colorless, nearly white, crystal is peppered with hundreds of very tiny bubbles. The glass is heavy with a velvet smooth feel. It glows green under blacklight. Would turn purple if left exposed to ultra-violet light.
This beauty has been well-preserved with no hints of purple at all. The elaborate Sunray foot shows 4 mold lines. The mold lines on the stem are lost in the zippers. The pressed bowl was stretched and finished by hand with no mold lines visible. Looks like Sandwich type glass. The exterior pattern on the bowl is raised and the interior pattern is smooth with slight indents along the pattern.
Measures just under 9″ tall, 8.25″ long and 4.75″ wide. Weighs 2 lbs. Solid circle of bottom-wear on the base as expected on antique glass.

$65.00Rare unused retro modern 1960’s – 1970’s relic with original labels.
This special retro modern domed server was handmade in Italy by Colony and distributed in the US by PD Imports (sometimes called PeeDee).
The retro modern domed server has two labels; 1 on the glass and 1 on the wood base. This beauty was found nearly covered in paint (on the exterior). When the paint was removed, so was the writing on the label still stuck to the glass. But the label on the inside wood is whole and reads “Handmade, Colony, Italy, PD imports”. Pee Dee is known for importing Italian glass to the U.S. for everyday use from famous designers.
Shows no signs of use. In perfect condition. It’s a big dome, large enough for a tall wedge of cheese, fruit and crackers. The very pleasing dark chestnut amber glass fits well with most decors.
Hand blown glass with applied handmade knob. The base is made of a very heavy, dense wood, looks like oak. Measures 8.5″ tall, 9″ at widest with an all-around girth of 27″. Weighs 3.5 lbs.

$30.00Pairpoint Glass Company Fat White Pig Table Charm with Maker’s Label
Cute Pairpoint Glass Company pig with original Pairpoint sticker still attached. Stylish little figurines like this were used back in the day to decorate and perk table conversation at the dining table. Also called “Whimseys”.
Pairpoint Glass is a very, very old U.S. elegant glass maker associated with Mount Washington Glass and the New England Glass Company. Through the years the company was sold a few times and miraculously is still in business today in Massachusetts.
We believe this little piggy was reproduced from a turn of the 20th Century iconic Pairpoint Pig designed by Jarvis himself. Made sometime between 1950 and 1970.
Measures 3″ long, 2½” wide and 2½” tall. Weighs 12 ounces. Made by hand with tool pinched ears, feet and nose. Tightly curled piggy tail was made separately and applied. In excellent condition.

$30.00Pink Depression Glass Sugar & Creamer with Gay Fad Decor
Lovely pink Depression glass table service set for cream and sugar, or whatever else you’d like to put in them. Decorated with hand-painted flowers in a style referred to as Gay Fad back in the day. Gay meant cheery and happy back then.
They are both chip and crack free. The glass is in excellent condition. The hand-painted flowers are a bit faded, mostly on the leaves, but still bright and cheery.
The glass was formed from an optic mold created the vertical panels inside the glass. Probably made by Jeannette Glass Co. in the 1930’s to 1940’s.
Perfect for those sunny and gay mornings drinking coffee or tea!

$225.00Heisey Prison Stripe attern #357 antique crystal oil cruet with original stopper.
Very hard to find pattern and form made by Heisey in the U.S.A. for only 5 years. Circa 1904 to 1909. The pattern is also known as Horizontal Stripes.
Only 32 items (forms) were made in this pattern. This is an oil or vinegar cruet. Especially rare form, with original stopper. Book value in 2001 for this lovely scarcity is $275.00.
Blown into mold with thick, heavy quality glass. The pattern is very deep. Appears cut. The base shows the pontil scar. Handle was hand-pulled and applied.
It is in remarkably fine condition for its age and rarity. A smooth sliver chip can be felt beneath the spout lip. It cannot be seen without inspecting very closely. The original stopper has some small chiggers on the tip. Very light liquid residue on inside base only. Barely visible. No chips or chiggers to the body.
Measures 7.5″ tall. Very rare and special gift for your favorite antique glass cruet collector!

Unused vintage Fire-King table or buffet server with original candles and box. See image 5, the wax and wick poured into the candle holders are original and unused. Circa 1950’s to 1960’s.
Fire-King ovenware can go from oven to table. This handy set features a gold-toned metal frame with dual candle warmers to hold your hot food on the table and keep it warm.
This unused set is in good condition with original box. Some atmosphere discoloring on the metal holder. The box is worn but whole. The Anchorwhite divided dish is pristine and Fire-King Ovenware is impressed on the base.
Very usable! Vintage Fire-King ovenware is sturdy, can take heat, will survive the dishwasher. Vintage, made in USA, Fire-King ovenware possesses a far higher quality than foreign-made Fire-King products manufactured today.

$120.00Set of 6 Art Deco Blown Glass Hoop Tumbler Set in Copen Blue
Blown glass hoop tumbler set of 6 made of high quality glass with weighted bases. Hooped glass was popular in the Art Deco era through the Mid-20th Century.
We are unsure of the maker, but lean towards Scandinavian origin. Tiffin Glass (USA) made Swedish styled glass much like this too. The color matches Tiffin’s Copen Blue, a light smoky blue.
Five of the 6 tumblers are in like-new condition. One tumbler has some light scratching on the hoops. No chips or cracks or liquid stains. Measure 5″ tall, 4″ at widest (base hoop) and weigh 1/2 lb.
Full size vintage glass tumblers great for everyday use. Bases are weighted with an inch of solid glass to prevent tipping.

The Lido etching resembles Palm trees. Fostoria sales literature suggested this pattern would compliment the “Swedish Modern table”. The fancy stem is part of Fostoria’s Baroque line.

Stands 6″ tall with a 6.5″ wide bowl. Original form part number 2496, Lido plate etching number 329 produced between 1937 and 1955. In like-new condition.

$90.00Large hand-blown vintage glass cruet in canary yellow and blue.
Hand-blown vintage glass table cruet by Tiffin Art Glass or Steuben Glass, both U.S. companies. Tiffin is no longer in business (see more info link below). Steuben, established in 1906, continues to provide quality colorless glass to this day, although I suspect it is produced offshore.
This beautiful oversize cruet was made in the 1930’s to 1940’s. Both Tiffin and Steuben offered the blue and yellow (also called Topaz) color combination during this time period.
Suspect it is by Steuben. Research uncovered the pinched rounded square vessel as Steuben, but the stopper was in canary with applied blue decor that’s used with Steuben’s Venetian line. The stopper on this bottle is in topaz only with an interior bubble. Although Tiffin made many tableware forms in canary and blue, we did not find a Tiffin form that matched this.
The stopper is original and fits perfect. The pontil scar was polished to half moon. For large thumbprint dents accomplishe dby hand tool. Hand-blown vintage glass with applied handle.
Larger than a standard cruet, measuring 8″ tall with a 3.5″ squarish base. No damage, no water staining. Light bottom wear on the seat from over 80 years of surface contact. Perfect for table or bar.

Bullseye Fan pattern glass by U.S. Glass, pattern no. 15090. Also known as Daisies in Oval Panels. Pattern designed in 1907. This is an original from the early 1900’s.
In wonderful condition. The only sign of age is the heavy ring of bottom-wear caused by over 100 years of surface contact. Glass is bright and sparkly. No chips.
Made with a 4-part mold. Contains three tiny air bubbles within the stem, commonly found in antique pressed glass. Beautiful pattern and uncommon form.
Measure 7.5″ wide and 7″ tall.

$145.00Hard to find rare Cambridge Glass condiment bottle with rare etching.
Rare Cambridge Glass #1263 Flat French Salad Dressing Bottle 8 oz in excellent condition. Circa 1930’s. Rare flat bottomed stoppered bottle from the Art Deco era.
The pattern was deep etched by hand. Features flora, fauna and a butterfly (see image 3). Unusual pattern not found in Cambridge Glass reference books.
Quality elegant crystal blown into mold with hand finished spouts and polished pontil mark on base. The stopper has a large flower hand-etched on the top. Stopper and bottle neck were ground to fit tight.
Cambridge called this form a ‘French Salad Dressing Bottle’, but it can be used for any condiment or special potion. Also great for the vanity table or bar.
Large condiment bottle measures 8″ tall and holds 8 ounces. Weighs 1.6 lbs. Small chips located at insert end of stopper (see images). Otherwise in excellent condition.

Beautiful mid-century modern color called Chartreuse by Duncan Miller. Quality crystal from the 1960’s.
Large dish with three compartments and two stylized handles. The slightly raised base rim is ground and polished flat. Measures 11″ long, 7″ wide. 1/5″ tall. Weighs 2 lbs.
The color Chartreuse is a vibrant yellow/green, popular during the mid-20th century. Eye-catching retro elegance. Perfect for the hostess gift. In excellent condition.

$45.00Teak Wood Condiment Set with Italian Glass Bottles
Well-preserved Mid-Century Modern teak wood condiment set made of genuine Teak and Italian glass. Beautiful set. The only wear to mention is the original white rubber trivets that once surrounded the stopper knobs were missing. We have replaced the rubber trivets. This set is in such good condition it appears unused.
The glass cruets are marked ‘Italy’ on the base with a flower or 4-leaf clover type impression. The wood is marked ‘Goodwood Genuine Teak Thailand’. Circa 1960’s.
The handled tray is 10″ long. The bottles with stoppers are 6.25″ tall on a 3″ wide base. Nice quality, great for retro modern style dining.

$115.00EAPG Glass Covered Comport in Spirea Band Squared Dot Pattern by Bryce
Big early American pressed glass covered comport by Bryce Higbee, circa 1885. In beautiful shape, no damage. The only sign of wear is the solid ring of bottom-wear on the base where it has rubbed against the surface for about 130 years.
This type of glass would ‘purple’ if left in direct UV light. It takes on a green glow under black-light. ‘Purpling’ is considered damage by most collectors. This beauty has no hint of purple. The glass is colorless and sparkling clean. Unusual to find an item like this with the matching lid in great condition.
Large EAPG covered comport measures 9½” tall and 8″ at widest. Widest girth is 24″. Weighs almost 3 lbs. Will hold lots of goodies, and is large enough to hold a side-dish, fruit, etc.
Made with a 3-part mold. Pattern called Spirea Band Squared Dot by Bryce Higbee.

Vintage coffee set made by Cambridge Glass in 1949 – 1950’s in a pattern called Cascade. Nice quality crystal was made with magnesium and glows under black-light. This glass would turn purple (sun-purple) if left in the sun.
All in excellent original condition. Beautiful, seamless clear glass. The original 1949 advertisement for the Cascade pattern shows a stream running over the rocks, hence the pattern name.

$55.00Diamond Block Covered Butter Dish – Antique Flint Glass
Antique flint glass covered dish made during the Early American pressed glass period (EAPG 1825 – 1910). Homemakers, servants and/or slaves made their own butter from milk. It was a time consuming process and butter was considered a luxury food. Beautiful dishes were made to present the butter at the dining table. This rare table service butter dish is an excellent example.
Probably made by George Duncan & Sons / U.S. Glass circa 1880, pattern called Diamond Block, also known as Diamond Waffle, also known as Patricia. Other possible makers are Westmoreland Glass, pattern Gillinder, circa 1889; and Heisey made a limited pattern like this called ‘mitered diamond’. The shape of the knob points directly to Duncan and we are 90% sure it is by Duncan.
Made of ‘White Glass’, a term used to describe antique flint glass. Flint glass is a very hard glass, and reflects a white sparkle. If broken, it separates into chunks. Usually made with quartz in the recipe.
Table service butter dishes are sized-down to accommodate about 1/4 lb. Doubles as a cheese, cavair, etc. server. This scarce beauty measures 5″ round and 3″ tall, weighs 1 lb. It is in near perfect condition. Amazing. The only sign of age is the thick, complete band of bottom-wear (from surface contact) on the seat ring and a small thin sliver off the inner bowl ring which holds the dome in place. Nearly invisible but can be felt. Dome was made with a 4-part mold, base was pressed.

Postwar German modernist style glass serving dishes.
Unionglas(s) was a glass-works located in Bavaria in the early 1950’s. The company hails from 1882 when it was known as Kupfer & Glaser. In 1939 (WWII) they renamed the factory to ‘Spiegel Glass Union’. In 1952 the glassworks changed its name again to Unionglass. In 1953 Unionglass closed down production.
This set was made during the two years the company was called Unionglas. Each are trimmed with gold and white decor, except the Unionglass marked tray which is trimmed in gold only. It is rare to find these slumped plate glass dishes in good condition, and with identification.
The company marked tray is in nearly new condition, as is the round tray with white dots. The largest rectangle tray has a diamond mesh white decor and is in good condition with 10% gold wear on the rims. The two small nut/mint dishes are in fair condition with 20 to 30% of the gold worn off. No chips or cracks on any.
The largest tray (image 3) with the diamond mesh decor measures 12″ x 8″, 1″ deep. The Unionglas Logo tray measures 12½” x 5½”, 1″ deep. The round tray measures 9″ wide, 1″ deep. The nut dishes measure 4½” square, ½” deep.
The company plate should remain unused and preserved. The others are perfect for use at dinner or cocktail parties. Hand wash only.

$45.00Tall tapered tumblers and nut dish made of hand blown glass with bejillions of intentional interior bubbles.
Set includes 4 hand blown glass tumblers and one matching bent dish. Glass is and clear and purplish burgundy infused with foamy bubbles. A rim of solid burgundy glass was hand-applied on each and hand-tooled to create 3 very small spouts on each rim. The three little spouts help direct the liquid to the mouth.
The tumblers are weighted with 1/2″ solid glass bases. A soft round pontil mark on center base with polished flat sitting ridge. Some bottom wear on polished seat. Classy tumblers for bar or table.
Heavy glass, each weigh 1.2 lbs. Stand 5.25″ tall (height varies slightly), 3.25″ wide mouth, base is 2″ wide. Dish measures 4″ x 4″. All in excellent condition. Maker unknown.

$50.00Cambridge Portia Five Part Elegant Depression Glass Server
Colorless etched elegant Depression glass made by Cambridge Glass, USA, circa 1932-1953. High quality heat finished table glass.
Manganese was used in place of lead (scarce during Depression years) to add strength to the glass. If clear glass glows yellow under black light, it probably dates from the early 20th century to the 1950’s. Glass with manganese will turn light purple if over-exposed to bright light for a long period of time. Cambridge used manganese until the 1950’s. They were one of the last glass makers to use it.
Cambridge made the beautiful Portia etched line from 1932 to 1953. Big, fancy 5-part round celery / relish dish. Cambridge part no 394. Measures 10.5″ wide. Substantial glass weighs 2.5 lbs. In Excellent condition with some bottom-wear. Glass is colorless, no hint of purple.

Crystal table charm by Pukeberg Glasbruk, Sweden. Cute, fat, mid-century modern hen made of solid Swedish crystal. Makes a fine paperweight, dining table charm (maker’s intention) or decor accent.
Original label still attached. Pukeberg Glasbruk (glass works) was established in 1871. During the mid-20th century Pukeberg employed notable glass masters such as Goran Warff , Eva Englund and Erik Hoglund. It was during the 1970’s that Pukeberg produced much of it’s decorative objects. Today, in the 21st century, the company focuses mainly on lighting fixtures.
This solid vintage crystal table charm chicken measures 3½” tall, 3½” long and 2″ wide. Weighs 1 lb. In like-new condition.

$60.00Hard to find elegant Cambridge Glass blackberry etched lidded mustard jar.
Cambridge Glass, USA, made this elegant jar in the early 1930’s. The detailed blackberry etch (#756) is rarely seen, and the mustard jar form is rarely seen. Original glass lid with spoon slot.
The quality glass is semi-heavy. The Cambridge glass recipe contains manganese which reflects yellowish-green under black-light. This glass would turn purple if left in direct light. The glass has not been damaged by ultraviolet yet, it is still clear and beautiful.
In Excellent condition. There is a tiny trapped bubble on the rim, inherent in vintage glass, shown in image 3. No liquid damage, no scratches. Measures 5″ tall with lid on. 3.5″ wide with a girth of 11″. Lid has a notch for a jelly spoon. Can be used to store or serve any concoction. Can double as an olive or lemon peel holder at the bar.

$135.00Pink Depression Glass console set with floral and sun enamel decor. Set includes (1) octagon rolled bowl, and (2) matching candlestick holders.
Elegant pink Depression glass probably made by Jeannette Glass Circa 1930’s to 1950’s. Other major Elegant Depression Glass makers of the era like Fostoria, Imperial or US had very similar patterns with octagon shapes.
In very good condition. No chips or cracks, glass is clean and brilliant, and the enamel is still whole and bright. All three pieces have real gold trim. The trim is 90% present on the console bowl, only slight rubbing on corners and edges. The gold trim on both candlestick holders has nearly disappeared, remnants of gold visible if you look closely. The age rubs on the soft, real gold trimmings are consistent with its age and occasional use.
This beautiful set was meant to grace the dining table or console table. Shown with a Jeannette Glass pink satin comport, not included. Set includes two candlestick holders; 3½” tall and 5″ wide; and one large 12″ eight-sided rolled bowl. Bowls like this were made to hold snacks or flower frogs, although not shown in the images below, a clear glass frog will be included.
