Big apple weighs 4 lbs and measures 5.5″ tall, and 5″ at widest. In excellent condition.
Made by hand of pure vintage crystal. Leaves and stem were handmade separately and applied to fruit. Large internal bubble is the apple core and is slightly opaque. Numerous intentional bubbles throughout.
High quality crystal reflects colors of objects nearby. Big beautiful apple.

$160.00Very large spangled glass goblet hand-blown in amber, black and laden with gold.
This vintage or antique hand-crafted art glass ceremonial goblet is made with high quality crystal and weighs 3½ pounds. Stands 11¼” tall with a 8″ wide bowl.
The blown bowl is made with black crystal and heavy gold or copper aventurine or ‘spangle’ embedded within the glass. The applied hand-worked stem is made with amber crystal loaded with aventurine. The applied foot is in amber crystal.
Exceptional and unusual oversize art glass goblet. Made of quality colored crystal. Rings like a bell. Because real crystal, made with lead, is rarely used today we believe this beautiful creation is of at least vintage age. The rich decor of ample aventurine is also not made much today.
The base of the foot has very little bottom-wear. We expect to see at least medium bottom-wear on heavy vintage glass items, but this goblet’s base was protected, or rarely moved.
It has the Venetian/Murano glass appeal and feel, but may be American blown spangled glass. Hobbs Brockunier made some hand-blown items with the same colors and decor, but that was back in the mid-1800’s.
Large highly designed art glass goblets forms like this were used as ceremonial goblets. This stunner is a stand-alone decor eye-grabber. Would look beautiful with a artificial draping plant or floral in the cup.
In great condition. Glass is free of water stains. Shines brilliantly. The hand-polished rim of the bowl has one nick that can be felt when running a finger around the rim. It’s so slight that it cannot be seen or imaged, but can be felt.
Maker and age unknown at this time. Estimated circa 1850 to 1960.

Handblown Seguso Art Glass mid-century Italian art glass bowl. Large centerpiece bowl in high quality heavy vintage glass with intentional trapped bubble and gold veil decor.
Designed by Archimede Seguso, a famous Italian/Murano artist of the 1950’s. Archimede Seguso came from a long line of Italian glass makers dating back to 1397.
In excellent, like new condition. Specks of gold aventurine are veiled throughout bowl. Symmetrical intentional bubbles.
Very scarce in this large size. Measures 10.5″ long, 7.5″ wide, 4.5″ tall and weighs 4.2 lbs. Sits on a solid clear glass .5″ tall, 4.5″ wide round base. Polished concave pontil mark. Medium bottom-wear.

$145.00What a hoot! This big art glass owl paperweight with wandering eyes brings a chuckle.
Made by hand using the Sommerso method of blowing two or more gathers of different colored glass together to form colors within colors. Sommerso means ‘submerged’ in Italian. This owl was created with two colors, dark blue and light amber. The eyes are in three layers, circles of applied blue with whites of the eyes and black pupils applied separately.
The crown, beak, eyes, feet and base were applied to the body. The backside of the body was hand-tooled to create a texture of ‘feathers’. Well-made by a talented Italian/Murano craftsman. We do not know the glass house or maker of this Great Horned Owl. During the Mid-20th Century famous Italian glass artists like Archimede Seguso and Flavio Poli created objects in Sommerso. Many of their works were made specifically for export to places like the U.S.. The ‘made for export’ items are rarely signed by the artist. J.I. Imports was an American importer of Italian/Murano glass. We believe this owl was an import item. Circa 1960’s to 1970’s.
Big shifty-eyed owl weighs 1.8 lbs and stands 6¼” tall. In perfect condition.

$155.00Large Murano art glass paperweight in millefiori (Thousand Flowers in Italian) with a velvety satin finish.
Densely packed millefiori over a colorless interior. The interior can be seen only from the base. The canes are well-made (hand-made) with many colors featuring a single cane that differs than the others. It may be a signature cane. See image 2 lower left. The cane has a white background with black center trimmed with red loops.
Many famous Italian artists created millefiori glass objects. Our first guess of maker for this paperweight would be Toso, made for export (import to U.S.).
Big pedestal paperweight weighs 1.6 lbs., measures 4″ tall and 3½” at widest. 9½” circumference on top. Dates to the 1950’s to 1960’s, could be older.

$240.00Corroso Art Glass Hand-Blown Mid-Century Jug Vase
The Corroso decor resembles ancient excavated glass. This art glass style was made popular by Alfredo Barbini (Italian). It is unsigned. Very well-made.
The maker is unknown. All clues point to Italian/Murano glass. The form and stunning blue color points to the mid-20th century. The expert craftmanships points to a fine Murano glasshouse. Matches decor and color used by Barbini for Cenedese in the 1940’s.
Hand-blown by mouth with tooled lip, fire polished rim, applied Scavo art glass decor, and applied peacock blue pulled handle. In perfect condition. Full-size pitcher measures just under 8″ tall on a 5½” round base. Weighs just over 2½ lbs.

$450.00Hand-formed massive Murano art glass goose or duck figurine stands just under 20″ tall and weighs 13 lbs.
The largest Murano art glass goose figurine we’ve seen, and we’ve been looking at vintage glass for over 20 years. It’s almost life-size.
Masterfully made by hand with an elongated intentional stylized interior air bubble running from the tail to just below the head. The solid glass base and bill were hand-formed separately, then applied to the body. Measures 19.5″ Tall, 7″ at widest point, 5″ base.
In excellent condition with heavy bottom wear on base. This architectural size Murano art glass goose weighs 13 lbs. The weight and age combined creates scratching where the seat of the base meets a surface. ‘Bottom-wear’ cannot be seen unless the object is turned upside-down.
Mid-century Italian Murano art glass. Estimated Circa 1940-1960. Maker near certain to be Flavio Poli for Vetreria Seguso. Flavio Poli, famous for his designs using the “Sommerso” technique, was artistic director for Vetreria Seguso from 1937 – 1963. The company closed in 1972

$165.00Fabulously large mod art glass snifter goblet vase in Ruby and Amber optic.
This is one of the largest 1950’s – 1960’s mod art glass snifters we’ve seen. Stands 18″ tall, 9″ at widest with a girth of 26″ on a 6.5″ wide foot. Italian makers were responsible for most of these extreme large vases produced in the mid-20th century. American makers also got in on the fad and produced items like this.
It’s huge, larger than you think. Would make a beautiful floor vase if kept from areas where a foot could hit it. Can be a plant holder, ferns look awesome. Never put dirt inside though, use a plant pot that will sit inside the 6″ opening and remove the pot before watering.
Hand blown. Huge bowl was blown from an optic mold. Hand-formed stem is applied to the vessel, foot is applied to the stem. The vessel has a light vertical disc optic, hard to see and won’t come out well in images. Provides a nice fluid sparkly glow. The stem has a unintentional internal bubble that can be clearly seen in the images (often seen in vintage hand made glass). There are a couple of small unintentional bubbles on the foot. Not uncommon for this style of blown glass from the mid-century. In excellent condition.

$140.00One of the most impressive giant brandy snifter vases we’ve seen. Super classy.
Giant brandy snifter vase from mid-20th Century Italy. Especially popular form made by many glass artists. This one was made by a pro. It has a spiral optic that is mesmerizing. Most of the oversize snifter vases had various optic decors, but a beautiful spiral twist like this is rarely seen.
The spiral optic produces a zig-zag illusion as the light shines through the moss black glass. Such a great color, goes with nearly every decor. The slight hint of dark moss green shows best under lights (see image 3 for best color representation) It’s a rich masculine color.
It’s huge, will hold armfuls of flowers, or a trailing plant in a 5″ wide pot (mouth width). It stands 12.75″ tall on a 6.76″ wide foot. It is 9½ at it’s widest with a 27″ all around widest girth. Weighs 3 lbs. Shown in image 4 with a 7.25″ tall brandy snifter vase.
The bowl was hand-blown from an optic spiral mold. The stem and foot were hand-made separately and applied. It has a heavy round pontil mark on the base of the low domed foot. The mouth rim is lightly ruffled. In perfect condition. Circa 1950’s – 1960’s.

$190.00Iconic Dino Martens Oriente design oval cased art glass bowl in excellent condition.
According to the book “Venetian Art Glass” by Marino Barovier, the Oriente decor (designed by Dino Martens) was made infamous at the XXVI Biennale di Venezia in 1952 when it received widespread recognition. At the time, Dino (originally known as Corrado Martens) was free-lancing for Aureliano Toso’s glassworks in Italy. Since then the highly sought after polychrome and aventurine mottled decor was expanded to include many more models. Aureliano’s son, Fratelli Toso carried the line onward.
The original Dino Martens items included graphics accomplished with zanfirico and reticello rods inserted, resulting in grids and abstract faces and/or flowers. The original design was cased in thick colorless glass.
This bowl uses all the correct colors and gold aventurine of the original design but does not have the linear graphics. It is cased in white (lattimo) glass. We believe this piece may have been made by Fratelli Toso glass-works in the late 1960’s to 1970’s.
In excellent condition. Measures 10″ x 9″ oval, 2½” tall. Weighs nearly 3 lbs. Multiple uses; flowers, candy, dip, catch-all, cigar ashtray, etc.

$240.00Murano Art Glass black amethyst galaxy bowl.
Unusual shaped square bowl with a deep round well in the center. Big, heavy and beautiful. Looks like a ‘black hole’ gobbling up galaxies. The murrine ‘galaxies’ are surrounded by large flake silver aventurine that look like distant stars.
Loaded with big silver aventurine flakes and colorful murrina. The black glass is actually very dark amethyst. It appears dark black normally, but when held up to the light you can see the glints of purple. Using very dark red or purple glass was the method of creating black glass in the past.
In perfect condition with heavy bottom-wear (from years of surface contact on the seat). The white glare marks on the bowl are light reflections. Measures 10” diagonal, 8″ at widest and stands 2½″ tall. Weighs 2½” lbs.
Hand-made by an Italian master of the craft. This type of 1940’s – 1950’s art glass is usually credited to Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.Ve.M.)’. A great artist named Galliano Ferro who worked with A.Ve.M. before he formed his own glass company in 1955. This beautiful bowl looks like his work. The bowl was not marked by the maker.
Mesmerizing bowl is a beauty for your side-table. Can be used as a candle holder (always remove metal wick holder at base of modern candles before using in vintage glass).

$70.00Vintage Venetian glass golden Topaz free-form ashtray from the elegant days of Sophia Loren.
Watch Sophia’s old movies and you’ll see lots of examples of mid-century elegant Italian glass in the movie sets. The Venetian glass of the mid-20th century was upscale and fancy. An bowl like this was her style. Beautiful, elegant, memorable.
This old Italian beauty still retains its original label. Label reads: Vetro Artistico Veneziano Handmade Genuine Venetian Glass Made in Italy. Made in the 1950’s to 1960’s. At least 60 years old.
Weighs 1 lb. Measures 4¼” round, 2¼” tall. Nice deep bowl to catch and retain the ash. Rim was hand-formed to provide rests of different sizes. Accommodates all size smokes plus pipe resting. Makes a lovely flower, candy or candle bowl when not in ash service.
Beautiful golden yellow color lightens and darkens according to the thickness of the glass. In excellent condition.

Big, beautiful vintage mid-century modern Murano art glass horse.
This vintage Italian glass pony weighs in at 2¼ lbs and stands 9¾” tall, 8½” long and 3½” thick. It was blown hollow in multiple parts, then applied together by the artist.
Playful pony n excellent condition. Hollow parts are airtight, no fogging. No chips. Perfect. Blown in amber and crystal quality vintage glass.
Circa 1960’s to 1970’s. Maker unknown, but certainly from one of the great glass houses of Murano, Italy.
Great gift for the horse lover. Excellent decor for a high shelf in the kids room.

$70.00Beautiful emerald green glass vase encased in quality crystal. Hand-made in Italy, circa 1970’s.
The style and form of this vase is often attributed to Seguso (Mid-20th Century Italian glass). The Seguso glass house did make a form like this, including the encased twisted colored glass in the tail. A vase exactly like this in emerald and crystal with applied fin feet is shown at Worthpoint.com as a Seguso piece.
High quality glass. The vessel was blown from on optic mold providing the vertical optic panels. The fins were crafted separately and applied. The twisted emerald glass encased in the tail is a difficult decor to achieve.
In excellent condition. Measures 8″ tall and 5½” at widest.

$95.00Handmade vintage Murano art glass owl with green millefiori eyes.
Mid-20th century Italian made owl figurine possibly by Franco Moretti. Certainly vintage Murano glass by one of the fine glass makers of the time.
Quality multi-color glass layered by hand and encased with crystal. Inner layer of colorless glass is cased with Lattimo (milk glass) providing opacity. The Lattimo layer is cased with the colored mottled glass. The owl’s body has silver leaf in the colored glass layer and expertly controlled bubbles inside the red glass head. The green millefiori eyes and colorless beak were applied. The figurine is solid glass, not hollow.
In excellent condition. Big owl figurine stands 5″ tall, 3″ at widest and weighs 1.6 lbs.

$400.00Antique Venetian hand blown glass pitcher jug and four flute goblets.
Exquisite antique Venetian mouth blown glass by a master of the craft. Estimated circa; early 1900’s. We have not identified it yet, but have many clues. We are certain this set is not of modern make. The shape and decor have a story to tell.
The set of four goblets and pitcher and appears to be from the late 19th to early 20th century Italy. The style and form were revived from ancient glass examples excavated during the Renaissance by great maestros of glass in the 1700 and 1800’s whose names and achievements still live on today.
The large antique Venetian pitcher and goblets were mouth blown in a slightly iridescent, very light airy green. The light green glass lights up neon green under black-light, indicating the presence of Manganese or Uranium.
The pitcher leans forward, as in ancient days. This feature assisted the hostess or servants while tipping the large pitcher for service. This pitcher should always be lifted in this manner to avoid damage to the handle.
The mottled plum base and stretch satin handle are hand-formed, each with a different decor style, and applied to the pitcher’s body. The inverted dome feet/bases are mottled clear and plum glass with folded up rims. Pontil scars located on inner domed feet are slightly rough. The goblet rims are folded up. The hand drawn and stretched handle is in mottled plum and clear glass with added decor of fumed iridescence. It’s as soft as velvet and shimmers and shines.
A tiny chunk of coal from the glass furnace is trapped within this vessel’s handle (see image). Coal from an old fashioned furnace trapped within the glass is a sure sign of age.
A double wafer knop is applied to base and vessel, joining the two. The large handle is applied. It hoops well above the body. This large jug is meant to be held with two hands. One hand on the handle, the other flat out on the opposite side on the body.
It is in wonderful shape with no cracks or chips or liquid damage. The pitcher is perfect. The goblets have very slight minimal scratching on the interior probably due to stir sticks.
Pitcher is 10″ tall, 6.5″ at widest with a widest girth of 19″. Pitcher’s foot is 5.25″ wide. The four flute goblets measure 6″ tall, mouth opening width of 3.75″ and foot width of 3.25″. Large tumblers – full-sized. Set includes one large pitcher and FOUR large fluted goblets. Sparkling clean.

Made in 1950’s Italy in Venetian style on the Isle of Murano. In image 6, an ashtray exactly like this one (in a different color) is shown with the original maker’s label which reads: Hand made Genuine Venetian Glass Made in Murano Italy Vetro Artistico Veneziano. Vetro Artistico Veneziano means Artistic Venetian Glass in Italian.
The label was used as an official Italian export label, actual artist unknown. Glass offered specifically for export was made by all the great glass makers in Italy.

$145.00Antique Venetian Art Glass Hand-Blown Vanity Vase Set with Silver Aventurine
Darling antique Venetian art glass vase set made by hand in Venice, Italy. They appear to be very old, possibly late 1800’s. Both in excellent condition.
Made of quality cased crystal. Inner layer of pink and green color with sparking silver aventurine. The vases are thick-walled with drawn stems. Applied hand-tooled crystal leaf bases have been ground to sit flat. Small bits of furnace debris can be seen within the glass. Furnace debris is often found in antique glass because they used open furnaces and organic fuel. In excellent condition.
Made completely by mouth and hand. One is slightly taller than the other. Both stand straight upright, the smaller appears to slant in the images, but it doesn’t slant, it’s a side-effect of imaging. They are not perfect in shape, but this is due to very old hand-made glass methods.
Beautiful for the vanity. Tallest is 7 3/8″, smaller stand 7″ tall. Both in excellent condition.

Big and beautiful hand-blown optic glass vase in grass green. Made in retro modern 1960’s Italy. The giant bowl was blown from a diamond optic mold and the hand-worked domed base and stem were individually applied.
In perfect original condition. Glass is clean and brilliant. Shown next to normal size wine glass in image one to illustrate its large size. These beautiful old mod vases make lovely draping plant or floral holders.

$110.00Hand-made Pulegoso art glass from Mid-20th Century Italy with foamy bubble decor trapped within emerald green and clear glass layers.
Back in the days of art glass studios, when beautiful objects were produced by masters of the art for everyday use, elaborate decorative bowls like this were made by famous artists and distributed throughout the world. The art glass studio era ended in the 1980’s, but was in full revival until then, making glass objects using methods gleamed from antiquity. This Italian Pulegoso art glass beauty was created sometime between 1920 and 1970.
According to the Corning Museum of Glass; Pulegoso
(Italian, from the dialect word pulega, “bubble” Glass containing numerous bubbles of all sizes, produced by adding bicarbonate of soda, gasoline, or other substances to the melt. The bubbles make the glass semi-opaque…. Pulegoso was developed by Napoleone Martinuzzi (1892-1977) on the island of Murano, Italy, in the 1920s.It’s big and very useful. It was designed to double as a catch-all, flower bowl, candle holder, snack bowl, and even as an ashtray. Measures 6″ wide, 7″ long, 3.5″ tall and weighs 2.8 lbs.
There are no chips or cracks. There is some light use marks in the center of the bowl caused by over 50 years of use. But the glass is still brilliant and whole and the use marks are hard to see. We are offering this rare item at a discounted price due to the use wear.

$370.00Big hand blown art glass vase set with exterior polychrome and aventurine murrina décor.
Mysterious hand blown art glass vase set. We are unable to identify the maker or the era at this time. The only decor match we’ve found was described as “vasa Murrhina”, but it was on a vase from the first century A.D. This unique pair of vases are not from the first century. They were probably made in the 1940’s-1960’s.
They could be mid-century Italian/Murano/Venetian: Pezzato (Venini), Mosaica (Vistosi/Toso) or AVEM (Dino Martens). This high quality hand blown art glass vase set was certainly made by a master of the craft. Estimated circa 1920 – 1960.
The exterior décor process is called “Roll Up” or “laminated”. Colorful sheets of glass produced with kiln-fusing are rolled over the blown vessel, then attached to a blow pipe and blown again. It involves warm, hot, and cold methods all in unison. Very difficult to achieve.
The inner glass is blown cobalt blue (image 7). The laminated layer is not cased in clear as usually seen, it is the outer layer. Surface is textured. Multiple images included here due to difficulty in capturing the intense beauty of the vases. The laminate colors are blue, yellow, and copper aventurine. The laminate is wrapped over the vase openings which creates a stunning decor effect.
The vases are large and heavy. Measure 9.25 & 9.5″ tall, Weigh 3.75 lbs each. Slightly different height and shape on each is due the hand blowing process. Interesting soft form bullet shapes. Both in excellent condition with roughly ground pontil marks.

Hand-made solid glass stopper measures 9.75″ long. Made in the U.S.A. during the Mid-Century Modern decor period (1940’s to 1970’s).

This big mid-century modern vintage decanter stopper in olive green was made for the fabulously large decanters so popular back in the day they were produced, and still so very popular today but hard to find. Often we find the big decanter bottles without the stoppers because the stoppers are prone to break.
To determine if your stopper will fit your bottle:
Replacing missing stoppers is tricky. A good fit is essential. The measurements must match perfectly to the bottle neck opening in order to seal the air out and sit upright (without wiggling). Replaced stoppers are referred to as “married”, meaning the stopper is not original to the bottle.
- Measure the inner diameter of bottle neck opening. Use a soft tape measure to determine the width of the top opening. Measure the open space only, between the bottle neck opening. Do not include the glass rim of the bottle neck.
- The stopper’s ‘insert top’ (see image with measurements) should match the inner diameter (width) of the bottle neck opening exactly or just very slightly smaller. You can use your soft measuring tape to encircle the inner top opening to obtain the circumference.
- Most decanter bottle necks taper slightly down toward the vessel, resulting in a smaller neck measurement than the bottle neck opening. You should know the length of the insert. The insert is the portion of the stopper that enters the bottle neck opening.
- Take the measurement of the stopper’s insert length, from base to top of insert, and use your soft tape measure to determine where the stopper base will rest in your bottle neck. The stopper’s ‘insert base’ should measure exactly or just very slightly smaller than the measurement of the area of the bottle neck where it will rest when inserted.
Most stoppers made for the large decanters from the past have a ground area encircling the stopper base. These stoppers have been ‘ground to fit’ by the maker for the exact bottle they were made for. If you know how to grind glass, or know someone who does, you can have your stopper altered to fit your bottle. This can be done only with stopper inserts that are slightly larger than the bottle neck.
Trying to get a perfect ‘marriage’ between a vintage glass decanter and replacement stopper is not easy. Often, even when the measurements match up, the stopper will tend to lean or wiggle. If your decanter is for decor purposes only, and you do not plan on using it as a decanter, you can put a small blob of putty or wax on the inner neck of the bottle to stabilize the stopper.

This mid-century modern vintage decanter stopper in emerald green was made for the fabulous decanters and bottles so popular back in the day they were produced, and still very popular today but hard to find. Often we find the decanter bottles without the stoppers because the stoppers are prone to break.
To determine if your stopper will fit your bottle:
Replacing missing stoppers is tricky. A good fit is essential. The measurements must match perfectly to the bottle neck opening in order to seal the air out and sit upright (without wiggling). Replaced stoppers are referred to as “married”, meaning the stopper is not original to the bottle.
- Measure the inner diameter of bottle neck opening. Use a soft tape measure to determine the width of the top opening. Measure the open space only, between the bottle neck opening. Do not include the glass rim of the bottle neck.
- The stopper’s ‘insert top’ (see image with measurements) should match the inner diameter (width) of the bottle neck opening exactly or just very slightly smaller. You can use your soft measuring tape to encircle the inner top opening to obtain the circumference.

$65.00Rare unused retro modern 1960’s – 1970’s relic with original labels.
This special retro modern domed server was handmade in Italy by Colony and distributed in the US by PD Imports (sometimes called PeeDee).
The retro modern domed server has two labels; 1 on the glass and 1 on the wood base. This beauty was found nearly covered in paint (on the exterior). When the paint was removed, so was the writing on the label still stuck to the glass. But the label on the inside wood is whole and reads “Handmade, Colony, Italy, PD imports”. Pee Dee is known for importing Italian glass to the U.S. for everyday use from famous designers.
Shows no signs of use. In perfect condition. It’s a big dome, large enough for a tall wedge of cheese, fruit and crackers. The very pleasing dark chestnut amber glass fits well with most decors.
Hand blown glass with applied handmade knob. The base is made of a very heavy, dense wood, looks like oak. Measures 8.5″ tall, 9″ at widest with an all-around girth of 27″. Weighs 3.5 lbs.

$225.00Highly Stylized Cased Glass Jug With Metallic Filaments Circa 1935
Made in the method of Crepuscolo glass. Quality hand blown cased art glass internally decorated with metallic strands and particles.
Crepuscolo is an Italian glass decor technique using steel or copper wool. The word ‘Crepuscolo’ means ‘dusk’ or ‘twilight’ in Italian. Crepuscolo glass technique was invented (or rediscovered) by Ercole Barovier (Murano, 1889-1974; Italian Glass Master). In the Barovier examples we’ve seen, the metallic strands are more pronounced and ‘wirey’. The same technique was used with this pitcher.
Inner layer is solid black glass, decor is greenish gold metal mesh and strands, cased in clear with applied blown handle. The combined decor techniques make this art glass pitcher appear to be highly polished black granite. We believe the metal is copper, with a greenish tint due to age of copper used, or more likely the black glass layer behind it.
Requires two hands to pour because it is heavy; one hand holding the handle, the other under the base. The handle is strong, very usable as a beverage pitcher or a vase. White spots in images are light reflections. Makes a striking floral vase too.
Big, full-sized pitcher, weighs 5 lbs. Measures 10″ tall and 9″ at widest. In excellent condition. Art Deco era styling and Crespuscolo glass decor suggest it was made in the 1930’s to 1940’s. Probably of Italian descent. Unmarked.

Handmade vintage Murano Sommerso glass bear blown in colorless, green and blue. Finished by hand.
Large and heavy Polar Bear measures 7″ long, 4.5″ tall and weighs 2 lbs.
We have seen this angry polar bear before with an original label on it. The label read: Handmade Venetian ji Co. Made in Italy, with a Gondola boat image. JI Co. was a major exporter of the Venetian and Murano Glass in the 1950s and 1960s. They exported product made by various glass houses in Italy to be sold in department stores and other retailers around the world.
This big bad bear is in perfect condition. It Does Not have the JI Co sticker. Base is polished flat with slight bottom wear.

$50.00Petite Venini Art Glass Ash Bowls Vintage Italian
Set of petite Venini art glass bowls with precision embedded pattern of diamond shaped air bubbles. Such perfection in bubble placement and the diamond shape of the bubbles is attributed to Carlo Scarpa of Venini, circa 1940’s. They are not acid-stamped with the Venini mark because the polished flat base is too small. We have seen many larger artworks with precision diamond bubbles with the Venini mark.
They fit comfortably in palm of hand, measuring 3″ long on three sides. Perfect for that little smoke. Beautiful on the vanity as small catch bowls.
The colorless glass contains Manganese, a mineral used to replace lead when it was scarce during the World Wars. Manganese causes the colorless glass to glow yellow under black-light. Italian glass artists continued to use Manganese until the end of the 1950’s.
This beautiful little jewels are in excellent condition with light bottom-wear on the base due to surface contact over the years.

Nason & Moretti crystal pinch decanter with the label used for tableware in the 1970’s to 1980’s. Sitting next to the decanter in the images is a beautiful hollow stem vintage crystal goblet which is included. The stem is usually attributed to Baccarat crystal, but many glass makers offered this form during the 1940’s to 1960’s.
Nason & Moretti is an Italian glass maker. The label reads ‘Nason & Moretti Murano Made in Italy‘. The decanter was pinched with hand-tool near the base, giving it both style and a good grip. Made of hand-blown quality thick walled crystal. Pontil mark is a polished circle. Stopper is hollow and ground to fit with the bottle neck.
Both items are in like-new condition. The decanter stands 8.5″ tall. The goblet is 5.5″ tall.
