Murano Glass Hand Formed Shell Bowl
Beautiful pinched, pulled and twisted glass art from 1950’s Italy. Made in thick golden amber glass and dark amethyst trim. Large, heavy bowl weighs 2.5 lbs. Measures 10″ long, 7″ at widest, 4.5″ at tallest. Bowl is 3.5″ deep.
In great condition with no chips or cracks. Some light surface scratching can be seen when studied closely. Glass has a couple of trapped air bubbles, normal in hand formed vintage glass. The twisted handle inludes both colors and produces a nice cloud effect.
Unmarked. Base is polished flat. Bottom wear is present (tiny scratches on base due to age).
