Murano Glass Hand-blown Kidney Bean Bowl 1950’s
Triple cased lattimo aventurine 1950s art glass bowl. Cristallo, lattimo and peach with silver foil aventurina cased together to create this stunning kidney bean shaped bowl. Mid-century modernist icon shape. Used for multi-purposes. Well-made and beautiful. Probably made by Alfredo Barbini, Murano Italy. Unusual and pleasing peach color. Circa 1940’s-1950’s Italy. Unmarked.
Flat polished base has heavy bottom-wear (normal for heavy vintage glass). In excellent condition. Big. Measures 6.5 long, 4.75″ wide, and 2.5″ tall. Weighs almost 3 lbs.
