Unusual and beautiful circus tent blown glass covered jar from 1950s. The jar was made in Italy.
This domed foot version of the popular mid-century over-sized brandy snifter is hard to find, and is usually found without the circus top lid. The smoke black glass goes great with all decor colors. This piece was probably exported by Empoli Glass, Italy.
It was hand blown in smoke black glass with applied inverted foot. This lovely piece has small trapped air bubbles within the thick glass. This is common in blown mid-century glass.

Circus Tent Jar in Hand Blown Black Glass

This elegant blown glass candlestick holder set was made by Cambridge Glass in the 1920s - 1940s, catalog part # 449. Called 'Calla Lily' resembling the flower. Lovely quarter gallon Moon and Star canister jar in dark tangerine. Made by LE Smith, circa 1930s - 1940s.

Hand Blown Circus Tent Jar

Unusual and beautiful circus tent blown glass covered jar from 1950s. The jar was made in Italy. It was hand blown in smoke black glass with applied inverted foot. This lovely piece has small trapped air bubbles within the thick glass. This is common in blown mid-century glass.This domed foot version of the popular mid-century over-sized brandy snifter is hard to find, and is usually found without the circus top lid. This circus tent jar measures 9.75″ tall, 7″ at widest, girth of 18.5″.

    These interesting vintage glass bowls resemble Early American Prescut, but are of a much higher quality than the Depression EAPC glass. This “fan & Star” pattern probably pre-dates Depression Glass; est. circa 1930s. The golden yellow color is permanently stained on the glass (applied by hand) and fused by extreme heat. It will not wear off (as flashed glass can). This decor was sometimes called “Amberette”.

    A few elegant glassmakers of the first part of the 20th century made amber stained glass; Heisey, Duncan (Amberette), Fostoria (Golden Glow), Cambridge, Hobbs Bruckunier, and Bohemian makers. The staining is precise and intricate, feels extremely soft and smooth to the touch. The glass is heavy and brilliant. Glass was pressed, NO mold lines visible (polished). Each bowl has acid ground triangles and grinding enclosing the stained stars. These areas were ground to provide a scratch-free base and for added decor. Nice touch. Beautiful edging is soft and seamless.

    The large bowl measures 8.5″ x 8.5″ (flares to 10″ at widest), 2.5″ deep and weighs 2.5 lbs. Smaller bowl  measures 5.25″ wide, 2″ deep and weighs 1 lb.

    Cambridge Table Glass Multi-Function Ashtray

    Rare Cambridge table glass ashtray and smoke holder, circa 1920’s. Identified as line #3400, part #144 in Colors of Cambridge Glass II by National Cambridge Collectors, on page 62. Described as “cigarette holder, Crystal stem and ashtray foot” and valued at $75.00, published in 2007 .

    This lovely vintage table charm is more than just a cigarette holder with an ashtray foot. It has an incised slit near the top for a placeholder or gift card. The cigarette holder can double as a small vase. The ashtray foot can hold treats. Unique gift with a card, flowers (or small smokes) and sweets!

    Hippy Era Light Bulb Shaker Bottles Made in 1969

    Mid-century modern hippy novelty art glass light bulb shaker bottles with original stickers dated 1969.

    Straight from the Hippy era, clever and artful glass bulb shakers. A very small opening at the tip of the real light bulb hardware tops allow for fine drips of liquid. Great for vinegar, potion or bar tonics.

    Both bottles are clean inside with no residue stains. The blue bottle is in like-new condition. The green bottle cap black interior lining and exterior brass show some use wear. The labels read ‘Vandor 1969 Japan’. Glass was blown into mold. Each measure 5½” tall. Size of a real light bulb.
