A set of 6 heavy pressed crystal wine goblets. These goblets are of a nice quality crystal with heavy decor.
The stepped, 6-sided decor on the stem is very attractive. This is a beautiful quality set. The almost white, thick crystal has a long, lingering tone when pinked.
The wide foot is applied to the stem which was formed in a mold, probably 3-part (the crystal was heat polished to remove the mold marks). The stem is applied to the bowl which was made with a 3-part mold (traces of mold lines can be seen on the bowl when studied closely). The glass was blown into the mold.

Beautiful Heavy Crystal Stemware

A lovely pair of ash bowls in graduated plum amethyst to clear. This set was hand blown with trapped air bubbles by Murano Art Glass. This elegant blown glass candlestick holder set was made by Cambridge Glass in the 1920s - 1940s, catalog part # 449. Called 'Calla Lily' resembling the flower.

Beautiful Heavy Crystal Wine Goblet Set

A set of 6 heavy pressed crystal wine goblets. These goblets are of a nice quality crystal with heavy decor. They have a light ring of bottom wear on the base of thick hand-formed foot. The wide foot is applied to the stem which was formed in a mold, probably 3-part (the crystal was heat polished to remove the mold marks). The stem is applied to the bowl which was made with a 3-part mold (traces of mold lines can be seen on the bowl when studied closely). The glass was blown into the mold. The stepped, 6-sided decor on the stem is very attractive. This is a beautiful quality set. The almost white, thick crystal has a long, lingering tone when pinked.

Each goblet weighs ½ lb. They are full-sized, measuring 6.25″ tall, the mouth is 2.75″ wide and the foot is 2.75″ wide.

    Signed Mushroom Cap Candlestick Holder

    Beautiful pink cranberry stained signed & dated candlestick holder. Made by Westmoreland Glass Co. (established in 1889 – closed in 1984). The pattern was called “Irish Waterford” or “Wakefield”. The colorless glass glows light green under blacklight. This is evidence of Manganese, which will turn shades of purple if left in direct, prolonged sunlight. Gold was used in the stain recipe, it can be seen on the signature when studied under bright light. Gold was necessary to produce the dark pinkish red color. The candlestick holder was made with a 4-part mold from heavy glass with wavy straw marks.

    This piece was signed by artist C. McClain 1977. An old 1970s ad for this pattern (showing this candlestick) says it is “an historic glassware of unusual charm”. Westmoreland produced this glass as exact reproductions of antique glass during the George Washington period (Victorian era).

    The candlestick holder measures 5.5″ tall on a 3 5/8″ square base and weighs 2 lbs.

    Set of two vintage Pyrex covered casseroles in Spring Blossom, known to collectors as Crazy Daisy.

    The casserole dishes are part of line 470 described as Bake, Serve & Store. You can bake in them, then serve in them, then put the leftovers straight into the fridge.

    Pyrex form part no. #473 & 471. Both dishes sport the Daisy promotional lids which are not original to the dishes. Good fit.. Made in the 1972 to 1981 by Anchor Hocking.
