Amber Crackle Cream Pitcher by Pilgrim Art Glass

Amber Crackle Cream Pitcher by Pilgrim Art Glass #150. Circa 1960’s.

This amber crackle cream pitcher is hand blown with soft pontil mark. The handle is applied. The fine crackles glow beautifully when sunlight passes through. A nice addition to serve cream for morning coffee or afternoon tea.

Pilgrim Art Glass was founded in 1949 in West Virginia, USA and is still producing art glass to this day. Glass that was hand-blown and crackled was part of their specialty.

The amber crackle cream pitcher is 4.5″ tall.

    Set of two vintage Pyrex covered casseroles in Spring Blossom, known to collectors as Crazy Daisy.

    The casserole dishes are part of line 470 described as Bake, Serve & Store. You can bake in them, then serve in them, then put the leftovers straight into the fridge.

    Pyrex form part no. #473 & 471. Both dishes sport the Daisy promotional lids which are not original to the dishes. Good fit.. Made in the 1972 to 1981 by Anchor Hocking.     Mid-century modern styling from the 1960’s. This shape is usually referred to as “saucer champagne”, and can be used as cocktails glasses or compotes. Beautiful, modernistic and versatile vintage glass. Color and style was popular during the mid-century Swedish Modern craze. Suspect maker is Tiffin or Duncan Miller. No maker’s mark.

    Fine delicate blown glass with applied bases. In excellent, high quality condition. White spots on images below are from lighting, these wine glasses are uniformly opaque black. Measure 4 7/8″ tall with a 3 5/8″ wide vessel.

    Libbey Rock Sharpe Crystal Cocktail Set of 6

    Set of 6 tall crystal cocktail stems from the 1930’s/1940’s with cornflower etch.

    Ultra elegant set of Libbey Rock Sharpe tall crystal cocktail stems. Libbey was one of the few American makers that producing crystal during the Depression years.

    Stem and foot are molded, bowl was blown from mold and applied. The hand-tooled “Cornflower” etching is remarkable. Total of 12 cornflowers with foliage on each glass. Libbey offered Rock Sharpe crystal glassware with numerous different etched patterns. The patterns can be mixed and matched.

    All in excellent condition. Stand 6″ tall, bowl is 3″ wide. Perfect for martinis and other chilled and strained confections. Will make impressive and elegant tall dessert dishes too. Weigh 1/2 lb each. 5.75″ tall, 3.25″ wide mouth.
