Hand-made Mid-Century Swedish Modern Glass Candelabra signed by unknown maker.
Oooh la la. What a stunning candelabra. The four candle stick arms were hand-drawn from molten colorless, high quality glass/crystal. The candle cups are made with gold chromed metal in excellent condition.
Looks new, but it is of a least vintage age. Probably made in the 1960’s or 1970’s. Signed by artist.
Weighs 4 pounds, 10 ounces. Stands 13.25″ at tallest, 4″ square at widest. No damage. Signed, but we cannot make out the etched maker’s mark. See closeup image.
Exceptional dining table centerpiece. Beautiful as a bathtub or window candle too.

Swedish modern decor pitcher vase by Viking Art Glass, USA. Circa 1960’s.
High quality vintage mod vase form in smoke greenish black. Beautiful, flawless glass was hand-blown, hand-pulled and has a polished ring base. The handle was pulled and formed by hand, then applied to the vessel. The base is weighted. The glass of the lower body is thicker, providing stability.
Beautiful, calming color is greenish/black. Referred to as Smoke Green.
The form is exceptional for flower arranging. The long spout and elaborate handle provide draping areas for flowers. The flowers you see in the image were simply bunched up and placed inside, and it still looks nice. This vase deserves more innovative floral designs.
It’s very tall! Measures 15½” in height, 6″ across at its widest point, and weighs 2.8 lbs. Glass is clean and brilliant (spots in images are from reflections) In excellent condition.

Made in the early days of Viking Art Glass, after New Martinsville changed its name.

This large hand blown glass trumpet vase weighs 4.75 lbs and stands 16″ tall. Sitting next to a life-size glass pear in main image to demonstrate how big the vase is.
This beautiful vintage Swedish modern form was designed before Bo Borgstrom, who became the artistic director at Aseda, Sweden in 1961. Copy of original 1960 catalog page below (image 6) identifies part no. at C37400. This is the large vase on the left.
Made of thick dark amber blown glass encased in clear. The “trumpet” was heat finished and hand-crimped. Very large vase, perfect for display. Long-stemmed flowers drape over the organic style free-form rim.
Slightly oval with one side measuring 4″ wide, the other side measuring 4.5″ wide. Widest girth is on the rim with a circumference of 16″. The clear glass casing is solid at the base providing weighted stability.
Beautiful, clean brilliant glass has a couple of bubble inclusions common in vintage blown glass. Base has heavy bottom-wear, with a couple of the age marks in the form of little dents. The base wear is not visible when on display and is common on old heavy glass objects. There is an etched numerical code on base. The ‘hand-etched’ numbers are probably the previous owner’s ID numbers, appears to be a social security number. The code is etched onto the base so it could be identified as belonging to the previous owner.
