Large Vintage Optic Glass Bullet Vase Made in Italy
Retro modern glass bullet vase made in 1960’s Italy. Still retains its old Made in Italy label. Will hold an armful of long stemmed flowers, grasses, etc.
Big optic glass bullet vase sands 15″ tall. Great as a floor vase or a tall credenza vase. Vertical optic panels, lightweight glass. Hand blown from base mold, no seams, pontil mark present.
This vase was made in Italy for export, probably produced by Empoli. It has multiple internal bubbles, commonly found in hand-blown glass made from the mid 20th century.
Shown in image 3 with other mid 20th century art glass items to help show color and size. The wine glass shown front center is normal size. In excellent condition. No chips or cracks, glass is clean and brilliant.

Amethyst Hobnail Glass Tumbler by Empoli
This hobnail glass tumbler deep jewel-like purple amethyst glass tumbler was blown from mold with a single vertical mold line visible. Superb because of its color and hobnail. Rich intense color, deep and jewel-like. The lighting causes color shade fluctuations in the images. The glass is evenly colored.
The hobnails are not uniform, some are larger, some are longer, some are sharper, some are softer, etc. The glass was blown into a mold and then finished by mouth and tool. Mold lines were heat polished out, but one is slightly visible. The thin outer seat rim was left by the mold, and in the center of the seat is the pontil mark left by the removal of the glass maker’s punty rod. The bottom-wear is hard to see as it is concentrated on the thin rim left by the mold. There are a few common unintentional trapped air bubbles within the glass.
This big hobnail glass tumbler measures 4″ tall with a widest girth of 12″. It holds 12 ounces with one inch lip service. In perfect original condition with trapped air bubbles left by the maker. Large enough to use as a vase. Circa mid 20th Century Italy. Made by Empoli Glass.

Murano Glass Microbial Bowl. Copper metallic encased decor resembles micro-organisms.
Featuring organic styling from Italy’s mid 20th century modernism era. Hand blown encased glass. Inner layer is ‘lattimo’ (milk or white in Italian) and outer layer is ‘cristallo’ (clear). Cased between the layers is copper ‘aventurine’, real metallic particles arranged to form microbial-like decor.
This lovely and interesting art glass bowl can be used as a service bowl, candle holder (always remove new metal parts on contemporary candles before using with vintage glass), catch-all, candy bowl, etc.
The aventurine glitters and glows, but does not show well in images because of the metal particle reflections.Measures 8.25″ round and 1.75″ deep. Weighs 1.75 lbs.

Retro modern blown cased glass vase and goblets with white inner casing and amethyst outer casing resulting in a creamy grape color.
Hand blown cased glass vase is in great condition. Rim of vase has invisible chiggers. Cannot be seen, but can be felt. Unintentional trapped air bubble near base, maker’s miss, does not detract. Common with older blown glass. Tall, long stemmed wines are both in excellent, original condition. Both have tiny air bubbles on base. The bowls also have a couple small unintentional air bubbles, hard to see, won’t come out in images. Trapped air bubbles are commonly found on hand made glass from the 1950’s to 1960’s. Hand blown with inverted applied base. Rounded pontil scar on seat.
The wine glasses measure 9″ tall. Blown waisted vase is 8″ tall. Estimated circa 1950s. Italian glass, possibly Carlo Moretti. Very popular form and style in the mid-century years.
