Vintage Blenko Glass Puck Candlestick Holders in Emerald. Set of four.
Blenko glass candlestick holders for single taper candle designed in the 1960’s. Original foil Hand sticker still attached on two, one has an inventory sticker also. Two have no stickers.
Deep dark emerald color plays with the light, appearing to glow as the light flickers.
Solid vintage glass, each weigh 1.5 lbs. Measures 3.75″ wide, 1.75″ tall. Hand-formed mid-century puck style candlestick holder by Blenko Art Glass. In excellent condition.

Mid-Century Art Glass Hand-Blown Pitcher Designed by Wayne Husted for Blenko
Large Mid-Century art glass Blenko #569 pitcher in Amberina. The part number tells us it was the 9th Husted design created in 1956.
Stunningly beautiful color was accomplished by the glass blower’s heating techniques. The dark, bright orange graduating into deep yellow color is sometimes called “Tangerine”, especially in mid-20th Century modern glass. The color blend has been made since the Renaissance, and is traditionally called “Amberina”
It takes a very skilled glass artist to accomplish a perfect Amberina blend because the color ‘comes out’ during the forming/heating process. Notice the inverted pontil mark has a blush of the orange. This fantastic pitcher’s coloring is remarkable.
The handle was hand drawn in thick orange glass and applied to the pitcher. It is a sturdy pitcher, very usable for beverages or flowers. The interior is sparkling clean, no liquid stains. It is important to wash and completely dry after every use, as this well-cared for art glass pitcher was.
Big pitcher stands 11.75″ tall and weighs a whopping 3 pounds. It is in perfect, like new condition. Over 60 years old.
