Handmade by Rainbow or Pilgrim Art Glass, USA in the mid-20th century. This beautiful decanter is usable. Many decanters of the era were made so large they were used as decor only. This one, although larger than most decanters, is a good size for the bar and your favorite libation.
It’s made with thick vintage glass and weighs 3 lbs. Sturdy and hefty. Measures 12.25″ tall to stopper tip. Circumference of 19″ around.
Rough pontil mark on the seat. The stopper is original to the bottle, seals airtight, but has a bit of a tilt (maker’s miss). The stopper and inner neck are ground to fit.
Sparking clean inside and out.

Pair of vintage art glass ruby bowls by Pilgrim Art Glass hand-made in mid-20th century U.S.A.
Shown in 1960’s Pilgrim Art Glass catalogs as style no. 437269. Part of Pilgrim Art Glass’ Epic line.
Designed by the infamous Moretti brothers who studied on the Isle of Murano in Italy. Made in Murano style, formed by hand with applied handles. Pontil scars on the base.
These beautiful ruby bowls with colorless applied handles have multiple uses. Perfect on the dining table for gravy and sauces. Also make nice snack servers, flower holders or catch-all’s. Beautiful as hostess gifts filled with goodies.
Measure 7.5″ long, 6.5″ wide and 2.75″ tall. Offered as a set of two. Both in perfect condition.

$110.00Lovely large vintage cranberry glass flared vase with original Pilgrim Art Glass label.
Perfect size for a dozen big roses (image 1 has small wooden roses shown). Measures 9″ tall with a 6¼” wide flared opening. Weighs 2½ pounds.
Pilgrim is famous for their cranberry glass creations. This is an unusual form, rarely seen. Estimated circa 1960’s to 1970’s.
Pulled from a multi-optic panel mold, then mouth blown to size and hand-finished to create the form. The rim is shaved and polished. Distinctive triple hoop base. The pontil scar was erased when the rim was shaved.
This large vintage cranberry glass vase is clean as a whistle, rarely used if at all. Label still attached. There is one extremely tiny flea bite on the rim. Cannot be seen but can be felt when running a finger over the rim.
Cranberry glass achieves its color from the addition of real gold to the glass batch. The amount of gold used determines the shade of pink. This big beauty is in a medium dark shade.

Retro decanter stopper teardrop in green glass with internal bubble.
Hand-blown retro decanter stopper in green glass measures 10″ long. Solid glass. Made in the U.S.A. during the Mid-Century Modern decor period (1940’s to 1970’s).

These big stoppers were made for the fabulously large decanters so popular back in the day they were produced, and still so very popular today but hard to find. Often we find the big decanter bottles without the stoppers because the stoppers are prone to break.
To determine if your stopper will fit your bottle:
Replacing missing stoppers is tricky. A good fit is essential. The measurements must match perfectly to the bottle neck opening in order to seal the air out and sit upright (without wiggling). Replaced stoppers are referred to as “married”, meaning the stopper is not original to the bottle.
- Measure the inner diameter of bottle neck opening. Use a soft tape measure to determine the width of the top opening. Measure the open space only, between the bottle neck opening. Do not include the glass rim of the bottle neck.
- The stopper’s ‘insert top’ (see image with measurements) should match the inner diameter (width) of the bottle neck opening exactly or just very slightly smaller. You can use your soft measuring tape to encircle the inner top opening to obtain the circumference.
- Most decanter bottle necks taper slightly down toward the vessel, resulting in a smaller neck measurement than the bottle neck opening. You should know the length of the insert. The insert is the portion of the stopper that enters the bottle neck opening.
- Take the measurement of the stopper’s insert length, from base to top of insert, and use your soft tape measure to determine where the stopper base will rest in your bottle neck. The stopper’s ‘insert base’ should measure exactly or just very slightly smaller than the measurement of the area of the bottle neck where it will rest when inserted.

$65.00Vintage Amethyst Glass Decanter and Stemware Set Hand Blown
Retro modern amethyst glass decanter with two color matching tall wine glasses. All were blown by hand, estimated circa mid-1960’s.
The bottle may have been made by Pilgrim Art Glass. Unsure of maker at this time. The pontil mark on the inverted base has been polished. Rim is polished. The stemware bowl was blown, then applied to a drawn stem, which is applied to a hand-tooled foot.
The stopper is ‘married’ (not original to bottle). It fits well and looks good. Originally a tear drop stopper was made for this decanter. Finding a stopper that fits the neck of vintage bottles is a hard job. Most makers ‘ground to fit’ the stopper end and bottle neck for a secure fit. This flat, colorless stopper looks great and will keep it covered.
The decanter measures 12″ tall and the wine glasses measure 8.5″ tall.
All in excellent condition. Sparkling clean inside and out. Great set for the romantic evening…

Beautiful Vintage Amethyst Ewer Jug with Original Label
This vintage amethyst ewer is in excellent condition with its original maker label. Made by Pilgrim Art Glass in the Mid-20th Century.
Hand-made glass by one of the best. Blown from fined ribbed mold and finished by hand. The crystal handle was hand drawn and applied. Inverted base has a semi-rough pontil scar from the glass maker’s rod.
Tall and slim. Measures 8″ tall. Perfect for potions of all kinds. Looks beautiful sparkling in a window sill.
Well-made art glass from the 1960s-1970s. Appears to have never been used.

Beautiful vintage art glass bowl hand-made by Pilgrim Art Glass, USA. Circa 1960’s. In excellent condition.
The mid-century glass blower created this piece of glass art by casing dark purple glass with a layer of opaque white glass and a layer of colorless glass. It was then blown into an optic mold, cooled and hand-finished by heat polishing the rim and creating the wide V utensil rest with hand-tool. The base was polished flat leaving a remnant of the pontil mark.
Deep bowl is perfect for anything from sauces to nuts. Retro modern elegance for your table. Measures 6″ round and 4″ deep. Weighs 1.75 lbs.

Mid-century decor styling. Large and funky lead crystal free-form donkey. Shown in Pilgrim Art Glass 1972 catalog, part no. 911. Hand-formed in heavy lead crystal.

Beautiful little vintage crackle glass window vase in a dark olive green
Hand-blown vintage crackle glass posy window vase in excellent condition. Circa 1960’s, when fashionable homes displayed these colorful hand-made beauties on the window sills.
Probably made by Pilgrim Art Glass, in America. Other glass makers of the era (Blenko, Kanawha, Rainbow, etc.) made small vases in crackle glass also. The crackle decor is accomplished by dipping the hot glass form into cold water.
Stunning vintage crackle glass vase in deep avocado green. Measures 5 1/8″ tall. Soft pontil mark on center seat.

Back in the retro disco era of the 1970’s, the ‘Neckglass’ was invented to help the merry party-goers keep their cocktails close. You can dance while wearing one of these. And the best way to keep track of your drink is to wear it.
This rare retro disco Neckglass features a leather strap, adorned with the Fleur de lis. It snaps open to remove.
It is in excellent condition. Very few of these have survived the parties of days gone by. This special hippie relic was probably never used. The heavy metal chain is in like-new condition, as is the leather and the glass.
The tumbler is made of thick, quality blown glass in olive green. Its weighted base and shape give it a center of gravity while wearing. The tumbler measures 5.35″ tall. Probably made in the USA by Pilgrim Art Glass.
Shown in image 4 with a leather and glass decanter and jug from Italy (available separately) in the Medieval style so popular at the time.
