Blenko Surf Green Hand-Blown Glass Basket
Hard to find surf green color made in 1970. Remains of label still attached. Beautiful basket by Blenko Art Glass. Many uses. Great as a gift filled with flowers, candy or something really special to your loved one or party hostess.
Hand-blown from panel optic mold. Rim is heat finished and handle is applied. Soft pontil mark. The color was made for only 1 year, 1970. In good condition with a few “bumps” on the back side. The bumps are light, shallow scratches caused by bumping against objects. No cracks, no chips. Very hard to see. Medium band of bottom-wear (shelf wear on base) expected.
Measures 7.5″ tall, 6.5″ at widest with a girth of 19″. Weighs 2 lbs.
