Holmegaard Danish Modern Cocktail Tumbler Set 14 in Smoke Green

Set of 14 Danish modern Holmegaard cocktail tumblers. All in excellent condition. Circa 1960’s.

These rock glasses were mold blown with heavy weighted bases and heat polished rims.  Measure 3½” tall with a 3½” wide bowl tapering down to a 2½” wide base. A solid layer of glass on the base, ranging from ¾” to 1″ thick, provides weight and stability.

The smoked black color with just a hint of olive green is a staple color of Holmegaard (Denmark). They produced many forms in this color to accent your bar, fun to collect and use. Well-designed mid-century modern glassware.
