Gold & Etch on Smoke Glass Compote
Beautiful retro mod gold decorated covered glass compote. In good condition with only 1 small rub on gold. Circa est. 1930’s – 1950’s. Maker unknown. This looks 1950’s Bohemian. It also looks alot like some West Virginia glass in the 1930’s – 40’s, probably made by one of the more elegant makers. The design on the gold points to the 1930’s.
Measures 7.5″ tall with lid. The stopper is solid glass. Bands around stopper are slightly worn. There are no chips or cracks and the gold is 96%. Beautiful.
