Cobalt Blue Art Glass Bowl & Candle Vases
Beautiful cobalt blue art glass large bowl and candlestick vases. Of unknown make and age. Possible vintage, probably newer. Fabulous art glass either way. Deep, rich, fabulous cobalt blue with swirled opaque, slightly irridescent color decor on the ball candle holders, which were made to double as ball vases. Turn the candleholder upside-down, and the open base becomes a vase! Blown from mold, no seams, polished bases. Bowl’s rim is heat finished, rounded. Made by a skilled glass artist. Large bowl has light bottom-wear and wavy lines near the base, straw marks from cooling.
Bowl measures 10″ wide and 4″ tall, widest, weighs 2.5 lbs. Ball candle holder/vase weigh .5 lbs each and measure 3″ tall with an 11″ diameter. Hold standard size taper candlesticks. All in excellent condition.
