Hand blown ruby red glass. The stems, foot and bowl were made separately and applied together. Thick, seeded glass with swirl lines. The “seeded” description means there are many, very tiny air inclusions and some miniature bits of charcoal from the furnace. The swirl lines and the inclusions are a result of old blowing techniques and old glass recipes.<\/p>\n
All in excellent condition. Rims are heat finished. Inverted bases with rough pontil mark. Glass is thick. All measure approximately 5″ tall, heights vary slightly because they are hand-made. Each weigh just under 1\/2 lb.<\/p>\n
