Description
Fostoria Coin Glass Covered Jar
Well-made Fostoria Coin glass covered jar in excellent condition. Circa 1957 – 1965. Â Fostoria’s Coin Line items were produced until 1982. During the 1970’s and 1980’s a noticeable quality difference separates the older items from the newer.
The older Coin glass items were made with better molds and quality glass. The coins are ‘Intaglio Frosted’ on older items, as these are. Newer Coin glass does not have frosted coins.
Lovely dish for your favorite candy or herb, or functions well on the vanity or bar. Covered dish measures 6.6″ tall, 4″ at widest. Made from a 3-part mold – mold lines polished, not visible.
