Swedish Modern Pulled Cased Glass Vase
Tall, pulled and cased vintage art glass vase. This old beauty is made of dark amber glass in sommerso with a very dark green glass blending up from the base. It is cased in solid colorless glass.
There are no mold marks. This vase was hand-worked on the “mauver” and internally blown. Finished with fire-polished pulled rims. The square base was polished flat.
This vase was most-likely made in the Scandinavian countries during the 1930’s-1960’s. In great condition. The sharp edges on the base have a couple of slim impact dings. Very small, hard to see. Glass is clean, no water damage. Has small unintentional trapped air-bubbles in the glass, normally found in vintage hand-worked glass. Measures 12.25″ tall on a 1.75″ square base. Weighs 1.5 lbs.
