Glass Eye Studio Life Size Apple Figurine in Iridescent Art Glass
Artistically beautiful, better than life-like art glass apple in reds and golds by Glass Eye Studio. This beautiful apple is irregular in shape, just like real fruit. The surface texture simulates the texture of the real fruit. It is not smooth and perfectly shaped like most glass fruit figurines. The iridescent colors, although not found in real fruit, are in vivid life-like tones.
Made by Glass Eye Studio in the Pacific Northwest, USA in 2007 and no longer offered by the famed Seattle glass studio. Hand-made with a glass recipe that includes ash from Mount St. Helens eruption. Blown into mold and hand-finished with applied stem. Hollow inside, but made with heavy, thick glass walls.
Weighs 1/2 lb. In excellent condition. Other fruit from the same Glass Eye Studio line are shown in image 6 for reference only.
