Vintage Old World Style Pinched Decanter Made in Denmark with Grape Collar

Pinched decanter made of dark green glass with pewter grape cluster collar and stopper.

These fascinating decanters were produced in the 1960’s when old world decor in the fashion of Henry VIII was in style. Back in the days of the Henry VIII, glass was rare and usually brown or green. Pewter was the metal of choice.

Stands 10.5″ tall and 5″ wide on three sides. Beneath the pewter stopper head, cork was inserted. This decanter’s original cork has long since deteriorated has been replaced with a vintage cork.

In good condition. Clean inside and out. Pewter has a good deal of atmosphere wear, showing uneven areas.
