Vintage Japanese Redware Drip Jug
Mid-20th Century redware drip jug from Japan. It’s smaller than a full-size pitcher but much larger than a creamer. It’s in great condition. Lots of wear on the seat from surface contact.
Hand-made. Beautiful form. Has a dimple on one side, a result of hand-forming. Glaze is dark brown with creamy brown ‘drip’. Stands 6½” tall. Holds 22 ounces. Doubles as a flower vase. Circa 1950’s.
Shown with dripware cups and tea tumblers available separately. Dark areas on glaze are light reflections.
