Beverage warmer set by ElecTrivit and McKee Glasbake, circa 1940’s to 1950’s. Both items made in the U.S.A.
The iron ElecTrivit in unused in original box. There is atmosphere discoloring on the brass metal warmer, does not effect it’s performance. Included in the box is the original, never used plug and cord and instruction manual.
The Glasbake Hottel appears unused. Made of white opaque glass enameled in black. The gold eagle is in excellent condition, all gold present. Black areas in the images are caused by reflections. Marked McKee Hottel Glasbake Pat. 7 on the base. The neck is wrapped with a tubing that keeps your hand from getting hot when lifting the Hottel. The tubing has discolored a bit from age, but is whole, supple and in great condition.
Hottles are used for transporting and retaining heat of your favorite beverage. When combined with the trivit, the hot beverage remains hot for as long as needed. Hottles were commonly used for tea, but great for any hot beverage or soup.
Perfect for desk, chair-side or bedside.
