Tiffin Cellini Chalice Vase in Killarney Green Crystal

Pair of early Moon and Star pattern kitchen canisters. Made by LE Smith, circa 1930s - 1940s. The set includes a large gallon canister and a quarter gallon canister made with thick mold blown glass with pontil scars on seat (left by the makers tool). Lovely large hyacinth bulb vase was made in Scandinavia, probably from Finland. Finished with an acid treatment to accomplish the satin effect.

Tiffin Cellini Chalice Vase in Killarney Green Crystal

Beautiful large hand-blown green crystal chalice vase by Tiffin in Killarney green. From the exclusive Cellini line made in the mid 1940s to mid 1950s.  The Cellini line was first presented in House Beautiful magazine in 1947. The big vessel is supported by an applied open work stem. Made entirely by hand and mouth. The foot is slightly domed.

Tiffin part #17523 Cellini ‘Chalice Vase’, 11″ tall; the largest diameter is just under 18″. The foot is 5″ wide. It weighs 2½ lbs.
