Amberina Textured Gourd Bottle Vase by Blenko Art Glass
A large, heavy gourd shaped vase in Amberina colored textured glass, pattern # 677 by Blenko Art Glass. It was hand blown with soft pontil and polished bottom rim (polished so it would sit flat). Designed in 1967, circa late 1960s. The vase features deep Amberina coloring from a dark orange base to a full ruby neck. Listed in Blenko catalogs as a vase, it did not come with a stopper.
The vase measures 9.25″ tall and is 4-sided, with each side measuring 5″ wide. It weighs 3 lbs.
