Ultra Mod Space Age Decor Full Size Glass Beverage Pitcher

Jetson style Space Age decor pitcher made in the 1960’s with thick luscious amber colored glass. This big mod beverage pitcher was mouth-blown and hand-formed. The applied handle is solid twisted glass. The dramatic wafer stem and inverted foot were formed separately and applied to the large mouth blown vessel.

Very sturdy and usable. Thick vintage quality glass. This big Space Age decor pitcher stands 11″ tall and 9″ wide from handle to spout. Weighs in at 2.5 lbs. When pouring from this over-sized pitcher one should grip the handle with one hand and the stem wafer with the other. Doubles as an attention grabbing vase that can handle handfuls of flowers. Also looks great with a potted fern resting on the vessel rim.

In like-new condition. Beautiful vintage amber glass compliments most color schemes. A lovely golden color that lightens and darkens with the surrounding lighting.

Probably made by an Italian export glass maker. It could also be American or Scandinavian. At this time we do not have a positive maker identification. Circa 1960’s.
