Stunning Art Deco Period Colored Crystal Wine Stems. In Excellent Condition Offered as a set of 8. Includes (4) 9″ Wines Stems & (4) 5.5″ Champagnes.

Thought to be early, unsigned Steuben art glass. May be of overseas origin. The stem, knob and bowl match early Steuben (fine American glass). No makers mark.

NOTE: It is suggested that these are Venetian art glass from the 1930’s by a guest who purchased a set like it in Venice, in 1930.

Platinum banding on base and rims 100% present, no chipping or harsh wear. No corrosion. Patina present, can easily be polished out if desired
NOTE: Stem, bowl shape and color match “Garda” by F. Schmidt (German). Platinum banding with stamped decor and vertical optics not found in Schmidt’s line to date. Two Images of “Garda” are in the third row.

Green crystal vessels have 10 optic panels. American, Italian or German? Research continues. Hand Blown. Stem applied to vessel, drawn base. Platinum banding applied by hand. Band decor hand stamped. Exceptional – Stunning – Estimate at least 80 years old.
