Pink Glass Vase with a Pulled Rim in the Georgian Pattern
This pretty pink glass vase is in the popular Georgian pattern. It is a 5 oz. tumbler with the rim flared out and ruffled to create a modified vase, making it a hard to find item. This is a light vase (hard to accumulate bottom-wear on light items) so the bottom-wear indicates about 50 years or more of age.
This vase goes well with any Georgian pattern (the pattern was made by many makers of the early to mid 20th century). It was made by either Cambridge Glass or Viking Glass, circa 1930’s-1950’s. Cambridge’s Georgian in this color is called Peach-Blo or Dianthus Pink. Viking, who probably used the same mold, made the later versions.
This pink glass vase measures 3.5″ tall with a 5.25″ wide flared rim.
