Italian Hand Formed Glass Stacking Bowls in Rootbeer
Set of three retro stacking art glass bowls made in Italy in the 1950’s – 1960’s. Rare ‘Rootbeer’ colored hand-formed glass. Very dark brown glass looks almost black. With bright lighting, the rootbeer color shows and you can see it a bit in the images.
Beautiful and versatile. Use as ashtrays, pipe holders, candy dishes, flower bowls, catch-all, candleholders, incense burners, etc. Hand-blown and hand-tooled. Pulled finger ruffles and tool stamped ‘wings’. Made in Italy during the mid-20th century and imported to the U.S. Hard to find as a set. Hard to find with unchipped ‘wings’. All are in excellent condition.
Largest measures 5″ wide and 3″ tall. Medium measures 4″ wide, 2½” tall. Smallest measures 3½” wide and 2″ tall.
