Hand-blown vintage glass beaker jug. Beautiful mid-century naturalist color and shape.
Versatile beaker shaped beverage pitcher in earthy dark moss. Handy at the table or bar and can be used as a flower vase.
Made in the 1960’s-1970’s. Maker unknown. Could be Empoli (Italian), or one of the American mid-20th century West Virginia companies like Rainbow Art Glass, or possibly Scandinavian (Holmegaard).
Hand blown with applied handle. The pontil mark is smoothed in the center of the slightly concave base.
In excellent condition with medium bottom-wear (expected on older glass, small scratches on the base caused by surface wear). Has a large trapped bubble (shown in images) near the base and a couple of furnace inclusions. Trapped bubbles and inclusions are commonly found in hand blown glass of the era.
Stands 8.25″ tall on a 4.5″ wide base.
