This hand blown bubble base bud vase is tall and slim. A beautiful mid-century Swedish Modern art glass in light smokey black grey. It is probably of 1950’s-1960’s Scandinavian origin, Finland or Sweden.

The vase is hand-blown with inverted pontil in the center of a flat polished seat.  The tiny bubbles in the base are very well placed or “controlled”,  not an easy thing to do. It is well-made with a fire finished smooth rim. The vase also serves as a paperweight.

Standing 8″ tall, this bud vase is heavy for its size, weighing almost 1 lb.
