Imperial Glass Candlewick Tazza
Elegant Imperial Crystal Flared 4 Ball Stemmed Tall Candlewick Tazza. The Candlewick line was designed and patented by the Imperial Glass Co. in 1936. This beautiful, high-end glass pattern was inspired by the cotton wick that was used in Colonial America embroidery. Candlewick glassware was very popular and it was produced until 1982. It can be found in 100’s of different glassware shapes.
This item is a 5″ comport #4, flared, 4 ball stem. Bowl is 5.5″ wide. It is in excellent condition.
The glass is medium weight and high quality. Extremely fun to collect and use. The Candlewick pattern came in a large variety of colors, decoration (etchings, gold, etc.), and shapes.
