Rainbow Art Glass Free Form Dish with Green Glass
A lovely free form dish that was blown into textured mold, then free formed. It is a useful item that could be used as a paperclip holder, jewelry/change catch all, sauce server, etc. The piece retains a worn label from Rainbow Art Glass. Circa 1960’s.
The Rainbow Art Glass Co. was established in Huntington, West Virginia, USA 1954. Rainbow’s glass forms were often hand blown and came in a range of vibrant colors and wild designs that were popular at the time. This free form dish is a wonderful representation of what made Rainbow Art Glass a popular mid-century glass maker.
This free form dish measures 6.76″ at longest, 5″ at widest, and is 1″ deep.
