Mid-Century Modern Finnish Glass Humpilla Tumbler Set of Four in Lime
Fantastic Finnish glass Humpilla Fantasy tumblers in vibrant lime color. High quality glass made in 1969 – 1973, designed by Henrik Koivula.
The glass factory in Humpilla was acquired by Nuutajarvi in 1986. The Nuutajarvi glass factory closed in 2014. The Scandinavian glass makers produced exceptional mid-20th century glass and the designs usually reflected their love of nature.
These vintage glass tumblers are made of high quality colored crystal with solid weighted bases. The form was probably mold blown, and the mold was probably made of clay or wood. The tumblers were hand-finished by polishing. No mold lines.
All four large tumblers are in excellent condition. Measure 4.5″ tall with a 3″ wide mouth. Very impressive tumblers for table or bar.
