Carlo Moretti Satin Art Glass Goblet Vase

Tall 1960’s Italian art glass goblet vase by Carlo Moretti. The Moretti brother’s glass art was imported to the U.S. by Rosenthal Netter. The Moretti’s made a range of ‘satinato’ vases, jars and stemware in a wide variety of colors and shapes in the 1960’s/1970’s. Carlo Moretti, born in 1934, passed away in 2008. This tall goblet vase features a twisted white satin stem with a dark blue vertical optic bowl. It was hand-made in three parts. The base is applied to the stem, the stem is applied to the bowl. Made of quality glass with a velvety soft satin finish.

Stands 11½” tall, see image above for size visualization. Exterior is in perfect unmarred condition. The interior of the bowl shows light traces of calcium left behind by evaporating water. This beautiful, towering mid-century art glass goblet vase is stunning with trailing flowers or fern-like plants.
