Blenko Art Glass Blue Crackle Glass Decanter 1960’s
Blenko Art Glass 657M crackle glass decanter designed by Joel Myers in 1965. Stunning “Blenko Blue” turquoise crackle glass. In excellent condition. Very clean inside. Hand blown thick glass with soft pontil mark. Original 4.75″ stopper with intentional internal stylized bubble. Stopper & neck are ground to fit.
14.5 ” tall, 6″ at widest point, 19.5″ girth. Weighs 3.5lbs. 1965 Blenko advertisement featuring this form. This style of very large, heavy, colorful, hand-made glassware was popular among the very hip during the mid 1960’s. Today, this decanter is rarely seen.
