Mesmerizing Barovier & Toso Murano bowl hand-made with ruby glass, intentional bubbles and swirls of gold.
Created with 2½ pounds of ruby glass, with a slight pink tone like dark cranberry glass, and swirls of gold aventurine. Trapped inside the glass are expertly placed air bubbles. Measures 7″ at widest and 2½” tall.
In excellent condition. Polished flat base retains a label remnant. Estimated circa 1940 to 1970. Beautiful piece of vintage art glass.
Hand-made of quality colored crystal. At least of vintage age.

This leaf bowl form was designed by Barovier & Toso, a Murano Italy glasshouse established in 1936.
The decor on the leaf bowl offered here is different. The company made the same form in many different decor styles.
