Antique hand-made primitive chest of drawers. Table, counter or shelf size cabinet with 14 little drawers. Made without power tools, totally off-hand. The little drawers are not all the same size and each one fits into it’s particular opening.
Very sturdy. Stands straight, no wobbling. Weighs 6 lbs. Stands 12 5/8″ tall, just under 8″ wide, and just under 5″ thick. Drawers are 2½” wide, 3 3/4″ long and 1 1/8″ deep. Although very primitive, it was well-made. All joints are firmly held together.
It is at least 80 years old, probably older. Wood has shrunk in some areas but has not affected the integrity. Dark stain in in good condition with slight wear around the edges of the drawers.
