Beautiful antique colored crystal goblets hand-blown in Peacock blue.
Set of two antique colored crystal goblets in a most beautiful deep blue/green Peacock color. High quality crystal.
Each measure 5.25″ tall. There is a circular outward bulge inside the bowl at the bottom center where the knop was pushed up from beneath. The quality crystal is top-notch. The lightest of plinks produces a strong, lingering tone.
Made exclusively for upper crust clientele by famed German glassmaker Theresienthal for Pieroth.
On the surface of the foot is a shadow of a round bordered maker’s label. We have not removed the label trace as it is a clue to the identity. You can see the remains of the label in image 2.
Both are in excellent condition. Heavy blown antique crystal. SET of TWO. Hand blown and hand tooled. The base is applied to the stem, the solid incised twisted stem is applied to the double wafer knop, the knop is applied to the bowl. The stem is solid glass. The rim is fine polished flat. Very light bottom wear.
