Westmoreland Glass Company Ball Ivy Vase
A lovely ivy vase with “English Hobnail” opaque milk glass. Circa 1940s by Westmoreland Glass Company. The base is made from a 4-part mold then applied to the 4-part mold, seam polished ball. A hand tooled crimped rim (to hold the ivy vines in place) was applied to the ball.
The vase is 7″ tall with a 3.5″ square base. Westmoreland is famous for their milk glass, most notably “Grape & Cable”. “English Hobnail” is found less frequently.
