Mid-Century Retro Bar Decor Pewter and Glass Owl Decanter
Retro vintage booze decanter figural of a mod Great Horned Owl. Holds a bottle of your favorite booze. Beneath the head is a pourer. Inside the head is a yellow plastic contraption built to secure the pour spout and center the head while it’s on. The bottle body is made of detailed green glass with feathers and feet. The exterior is pewter with detail on the wings.
It’s in unused condition – perfect like new. Even the cork that holds the spout in the bottle is spotless. This great owl decanter has never held liquid. Was made for the aftermarket, did not come with booze inside. Has a felt covered bottom.
A most appealing owl with mid-century modern styling. His head can rotate and look in any direction. Beautiful big green startled eyes. Estimated circa 1960 – 1970. Probably made in Italy. No markings. Measures 9.75″ tall, weighs a little over 2 lbs.
