Big goldfish bag made in mid-century Murano, Italy.
Large! It weighs 2 lbs! Most of these iconic Italian fish bags we’ve seen over the years were much smaller.
Stands 5¼ inch tall, 3¾ inch wide and 2¾ inch thick. The top of the bag, above the sash is concave and large enough to use as a catch-all or small vase.
Retains original sticker which reads: Made in Italy, Murano, Venezia. Estimated circa 1950-1970.
Handmade of quality vintage glass. The orange glass goldfish is trapped within solid glass. The blue sash was drawn by hand and applied. Seat is polished flat. In excellent condition.
