Blenko Pre-Designer Art Glass Pinch Decanter in Sea Green
Hand blown Blenko decanter with original stopper in Sea Green. Blenko Art Glass original part #49 pinched crackle glass decanter, designed in the late 1940’s. This is known as a “pre-designer” item when William Blenko (founder) was head designer. Production continued to the early 1970’s.
In excellent condition. Hand-blown. Pontil mark on base. Medium crackle. Weighs 2.2 lbs.
Stopper and neck are ground to match. Stopper has stylized intentional bubble. Stopper is original to bottle. Decanter has three 5″ wide pinched sides. Looks awesome and provides a good “grip”. Stands 10″ tall with stopper. Full-sized decanter. Due to the hand-made process, these decanters vary slightly in size.
