Mid-Century Multi Cased Murano Art Glass
Fabulous vintage Italian art glass – Wow. Triple cased to produce this stunning carnival of colors. This is both an ashtray and a bowl. Folds provide holders for cigars or cigarettes. When not used as an ashtray, the folds appear to be part of the decor. Thick, heavy glass. Inner layer is purple amethyst, center layer is multi-color – orange, white, green & yellow. Outer layer is lemon yellow. The layers come together to produce exceptional coloring.
This was Italian made, 1950’s, by an exceptional glass artist like Fratelli Toso, Seguso or Dino. Weighs 3 lbs. Measures 7″ wide, 3.5″ tall.
