Psychedelic Magic Mushroom Group Labeled Venetian Glass
Vetro Artistico Veneziano vintage hand-made trippy glass fungi. Label reads – Hand Made Genuine Venetian Glass Vetro Artistico Veneziano Made in Murano Italy.
This is mid 20th century art glass with original label. Stunning psychedelic retro hippie decor. Circa early 1960’s to early 1970’s. The mushrooms are decorated with swirled orange, burnt orange, black, yellow and blue canes. Within the black areas is gold aventurine. The decor layer is cased with crystal clear glass. The base is solid black. The smallest mushroom is a magic mushroom. When viewed under blacklight it has a solid ring of green glow (whitish circle is vaseline glass on the small mushroom only).
Big and beautiful, surely made by a master. Measures 6″ wide, 3.75′ at tallest. Weighs 2.75 lbs. Mushrooms were very popular during the peace and love era. This awesome figurine doubles as a paperweight.
