The absolute best answer for art glass and pottery protection. We've tried them all. Museum Gel is clear, removable, and usually reusable. Just place 3 small balls of Museum Gel in a triangle on the base of the glass and place on your display surface.  The gel bonds with the glass and the display surface, creating an airtight connection.  Best of all, it is invisible.

Micro-fiber glass polishing cloths can clean & polish glass without the need for water or cleaning fluid.  This is especially handy when your art glass or pottery is anchored by Museum Gel.  You can clean and polish your treasured item without detaching it from the display surface. The polishing cloths are large (16" x 17"), hand-washable and extremely absorbent.

Museum Gel holds tight, yet when you need to move the glass, just gently twist the base and it will come up.  Be extra careful  if you have a thin stemmed item.  Do not twist the stem. Another way to break the airtight seal is to use a wooden chopstick and carefully poke it between the base of the glass and the display surface until air can get between and loosen the seal.

Removing Museum Gel is easy. Just rub it with your finger and it comes up in little balls.  If the Museum Gel is still clean when you remove it, it is reusable. Will not stain the glass, tile, metals, glazed pottery, porcelain and other non-porous surfaces.  Will leave an oil stain on material, unfinished wood, unfinished pottery, cork and other porous surfaces.

If you use Museum Gel to secure a stopper on a decanter or any kind of lid, use a VERY small amount.  Gravity will pull the gel into the decanter and it will be hard to clean out (but it will come out eventually).

Comes in a sealed 4 oz clear jar with instructions.  One jar can secure 300 or more glass items. Kit includes three (3) micro-fiber polishing cloths and one (1) jar Museum Gel.  Shipping is free when combined with your glass purchase .
