Vitro Ceramica 1960s Flower Power Tile Double Trivet

Double trivet teakwood tray with handmade tiles by Vitroceramica. This Flower Power hippie era kitchen trivet was made in the 1960s.  It’s in great condition with the only signs of wear on the base (see image ).  The tiles are like-new and the teak has been well-maintained. The tiles are marked ‘Vitroceramica, Made in Spain’.  One tile has a ‘6’ in a square and a ‘B’ in a diamond.  The other tile has a ‘3’ in the square. The teakwood was hand-carved and the tiles were hand-made. The psychedelic flowers have a raised texture and are done in a moss green and mustard yellow. Measures 13 ¼” long from handle to handle, 6” wide.  The tiles are 4 ¼ x 4 1/4”.
